The lady at Avis Ballina was very rude when we were checking for car because we booked through a third party. She snatched slammed the paper in the desk asked me questions I told her to read the paper.

had to wait for the pick-up shuttle to go and drop one pack of customers as they only had one van for transfer; at the counter we were assisted based on who was supposed to get the car next (rental hour) and not based on who got there first, there were people who got there on time (like us) and had to wait in line for people who came after their pick-up time and after them.. amazing! when returning the car, I had a small wheel scratch and that was OK, no comment, told him to give me the documents and invoice so I can talk to my insurance but there wasn't much professionalism and the guy was behaving as if I broke his car (it had a big dent on one side, scratched from poor parking and not the cleanest either - when picked up)
Waited well over half an hour to pickup car — there were four staff at the registers but it was *very slow*

Everything says ‘print voucher’ but there isn’t a button to do so, or a download sent by email. Very frustrating as it implies that picking up without documents would be ‘wrong’. Otherwise it’s good.
Car met expectations. Staff courteous however should be more clear on toll transponder. We were inform and paid for daily use which would include tolls. Then told at return/check out it was
$9.99 a day to have the teansponder active daily plus tolls.
The damages that were marked on the car were a lot more than the listed in the document you receive. The amount for the child seats was also higher than what was listed originally.

Great, as always. The only problem we had with the booking was the difference in the price for the child seats.
