As I was organised the trip for guests who are paying for the trip including car rental fees. Even though I was the main driver, the guests still will to use their credit card to pay. However it was not feasible under your policies. This should be more flexible.
The staff at the desk were welcoming and spoke good English. However, we were charged more for a larger size car as the staff informed us that no cars in our booked category with built-in Satnav were available. This added to the cost of our hire.

Europcar was quick and efficient. Two points worth noting though
1. They seem to hold one of the highest deposits compared to theirs we spoke to.
2. They say they are in the airport but it is only their desk there. You take a free shuttle just a short distance to their actual compound. On arrival we waited 10-15 mins for the shuttle but it was immediate on departure. It is also just about a half mile away.

Qeeq as ever for me perfect from start to finish. Everything in place, price always leaves us smiling when we listen to what others say they pay and the extra insurance gave me piece of mind I would incur the £1800 excess that europcar impose.

Had an awful experience with their roadside assistance and some of the customer service staff over the phone. Was not explained in a lot of detail how to use an electric car, despite letting staff know it was my first time. Was given a pamphlet, however the process of using the charging ports was horrible. Needed to ask for help on the street in Bologna as I was stranded for hours. Staff over the phone told me roadside assistance could not help me until the morning as nothing was available. Was told to 'ask someone on the street' for help, hung up on twice when I told them I did not speak Italian, and got told there was nothing they could do. I did speak to one man who was helpful (Vard), however the towtruck that was ordered for me did not come in the expected time slot, and I was only able to get the car working from kind strangers on the street.

Booking process and level of insurance provided through site was fine.
Experience was very disappointing.
Pick-up: you either are partner with Routes or you are not. At the counter I got the rehearsed "they did not give us all the information" which is simply non sense. The additional amount we had to pay for the second driver (£113) was different from what mentioned in the booking (£94). When we asked for explanation they printed the email received from Europcar and none of the numbers made any sense at all (rate between GBP and CAD was over 2). Luckily enough we only had to pay for the additional driver and the difference was small, but it was impossible to understand what we paid and what we needed to pay from the information provided.
Drop-Off: we had to wait in the pick up queue as no one was available at the return counter. After 20 minutes of wait we were told we could leave the keys to one of their representative - which we eneded up doing - if the car was in the same condition.
Not an experience I'd like to repeat.
Lamentablemente, el coche que me proporcionaron no correspondió con el que había reservado en el sitio. Estaba en un viaje en pareja y me dieron un vehículo para 7 personas, que parecía más una "bañera sobre ruedas" que un coche cómodo. Además, el coche estaba bastante sucio por dentro, con restos de paquetes de preservativos y residuos de hierbas en el panel central.
Espero que esta situación pueda ser revisada para que futuros clientes no enfrenten los mismos problemas. Agradezco su atención y espero que puedan mejorar este aspecto del servicio.
Drop off in Bergen was also a bit confusing only because Europcar doesn’t have an office in the rental car center. They do have clearly marked section to leave car though. You go into the airport and drop the key into an automated machine box. There is a staff member there but busy handling the long line of pickup customers. No chance to ask questions about the toll fees, etc. You just have to trust. There is no real expectation setting here.

Perfect. Only after the drop off you find it difficult for o carry your luggage and o the departure area.
Cars should have facility to connect the airdrop navigation system at these times.
