There was an issue with pick up as the confirmation number sent to me by QEEQ related to Thrifty in the city for pickup and not the airport even though the pickup address was down at the airport. The young gentleman from thrifty was wonderful, he mentioned this had been a problem before amd was able to organise another car for me.

They didn’t take clear car photos and set me in trap to at a wind screen chip but it was present when we received the car. They charged me $1000 deposit and didn’t refund it to me yet after I show them the clear pics when we received the car. I am still wait for deposit refund. Very Frustrating.

Was lucky enough to be given a brand new car with only 500km's on the clock so it was a dream to drive, was super clean and smelt good. The courtesy bus was the best I've been in from a budget company. Only downside was waiting at the airport, for a slightly extended period, for passengers they had on the list even though they had a continual rotation of 2 buses.

The Europcar office is easy to find, instruction provided to pick up and drop off car is very clear and useful. Customer service is very helpful and polite. The SUV car I rented is pretty new and spacious, my kids like it very much. We really enjoyed the trip, double thumbs up for Europcar :).

Was told at Melbourne Intl airport to go to downtown Melbourne to do an exchange for vehicle. From Isuzu mux to Toyota Kluger. Went down the next day and the counter manager told me no Kluger available. In fact none for the entire Victoria. Simply brush me off by saying Europcar cannot do anything to help. Also the agreement from Europcar mention excess of $5000 which should have been zero since I have upgraded my booking to include zero excess.

We got an upgrade to a good diesel 4x4 which was good. The counter staff member (pretty sure it was Denise) was great. The car was pretty dirty but they had some issues with getting cars delivered in time so the staff were managing everyone really well.

Had to answer a bunch of ‘confirmation’ questions instead of a simple “we’ll be right there”. Manager on site was too busy for me, so waited until he called an employee in.

My arrival flight to mel is delayed , i tried to amended my arrival date ( delay a day ) , Hertz asked me to call back QEEQ for amendment if not there will be count on NO SHOW, I explained to the CS , i m not going to refund ,just pick up 1 day late. Customer reception was a little dodgy. I was pressured to pay for an upgrade. The company didn't actually have the compact vehicle I had booked, but did not disclose this. I persevered with my booked smaller vehicle and the company rep had to admit that they could only supply a larger vehicle (for no extra cost). The vehicle also had some cosmetic damage that was not disclosed. I had to take my own photos to prove to Hertz that the vehicle had some damage that their own pre-rental inspection did not show.

When booking, we booked a compact car, the cars shown were a Hyundai, Toyota or something similar. We got nothing at all like advertised. The car assigned to us was a Toyota Corolla, nothing compact about it. It was in a terrible condition, scratched, dented and dirty, not even bird poo was cleaned of the windscreen. We complained bitterly and were then offered a slightly later model Corolla but still a very old car with numerous dents, scratches etc but cleaner (they did have to clean it before we drove it away). Will we use you again? A definite no.

I’m very disappointed about the woman that was attending at the counter (14/10/2022-23:00aprox Melbourne airport). When she knew that we are Colombians she started to talk about cocaine and the good quality of Colombian cocaine. For me and my brother, it is a terrible disrespect and it is even almost a racist and discriminatory comment, in her position as a client attendant, she has to be respectful of all people and cultures instead as she did following a bad stigma about a country to frame us as bad people. in Colombia, we are more the good people than the bad ones and drugs are not anymore the main thing in a country full of culture and good people. On the other hand, she had a bad attitude attending us, with a poor explanation about the process. for example, she charge me $100 but she wasn’t clear for what reason I had to pay that. (I suppose it is a bond that will be returned to my account) because when I did the booking I paid for everything. (At this time, I don’t know anything about this $100 and I would like to know when will be my money returned? ) It is a shame just an only one person with a very bad attitude destroys the whole experience and good name of a company. Forgetting the bad experience at the counter all was good and the car was great. That’s why we have a bittersweet taste about the experience renting a car in budget.

The steering wheels was shaking when drive 80km or above. More important is safety concern when drive 90km on highway, the vehicle sway left and right which constantly require very focus attention to correct back to lane and holding steering wheel firm. At first, I thought it could be strong wind but when met up my brother in law on the 3rd day, who is car mechanic in Melbourne, told us the tire is worn out and cannot drive fast, as it is dangerous. Thus, throughout the trip was negative experience driving at slow speed which wasted alot of time at long distant travel. Suggest your mechanic check the wheel condition and shakyness of the steering wheel as poise safety concern.

Very bad service. This owner should not work in services field as he does not provide any. No one showed up at the drop off warehouse therefore I informed them 4 days before, by phone and confirmed time and day for returning the car As no one was on site "the drop off day" I phoned them 5 times +one text and no courtesy to at least acknowledge. I will never book again with them for sure.

The car certainly exceeded my expectation, all around. It was a near new car, so it was beautiful to drive and the condition was immaculate. The service was good, but the premises are far from professional. The driver that picked us up was the same that did the paperwork, took us to our car and took tons and tons of pictures of the car, tyres, rims, everything. Very Very fussy lender. He ran the show all by himself on pickup. In my many experiences of car rentals, this is the first time I have been asked to provide a receipt to prove that I have filled up with fuel before dropping off the car.

Difficult to communicate with to arrange pickup from airport - provided incorrect car details and would not confirm a specific location. inconsistent answering phones when trying to follow up On return of rental staff member directed us straight to office, he confirmed we had paid extra for insurance and presented a blank damage report requesting to be signed. No inspection of the vehicle had been completed. When questioned, the staff member took us to the vehicle and we needed to be on hands and knees to see a scrape on underside of bumper. Staff member unable to explain how they were aware of this without also doing an inspection on hands and knees. Staff member unable to explain the process of claim due to his limited English. Staff refused to provide their names or a business card so we could follow up with our claim/complaint. Another staff member dropped us back at the airport, after repeated requests to drop us at T3 departures he took us to the opposite end in arrivals. We both felt very distressed with the whole process. We felt vulnerable and it soured our holiday.

Airport pickup is busy - about as long as a shuttle to a remote location and a pickup would take. Car itself was good - but they didn't clean it between rentals. They left the paperwork for the old renter and there was about 3 hours between them dropping off and me picking up, which is why I suspect this happened. Other than that it was a great little Hyundai i30. Staff was very friendly for pickup. Overall, very smooth and will rent again.

the receptionist told me that should buy insurance with them which is around $50 per day, and told me it may spend 1 year to claim online with ERC, she scared me a lot. Also, she charged me $908 on my card but did not explain what are they including...it just said preauthorization, I am waiting for the refund of preauthorized now. The car was not very clean, and there was an Ineffable smell.

I am extremely happy with the CS at aero drive. There was a slight issue with me getting picked up at the airport but they gave me an upgrade to a very comfortable premium SUV to make up for the delay. Everything is ok but I am not satisfied with the car type I booked which I am booking Mitsubishi Outlander (medium, 5 seater) but I get Mitsubishi ASX (small, seater). I try clearify with the staff but they said have left that model. They promised to discount me due to this case however, seems like they don't take any follow up when I return them the car and with reason that they need to refer to their manager. This is not good the experience with Enterprise. What I booking might end up with not I am expected. The car rental fee is not cheap, there is surcharge charged by National when u picked up the car. the overall with full insurance is nearly the same as big brands like Hertz. but Hertz have clean and new car, but National provide a dirty old car. The car provided not really match my need. I rent a car from hertz before National and I can put all my luggage inside the car, But National Large SUV cannot as they provide a smaller car than what I rent. I asked for help and they just said they have no other car can be provided. Very poor services and I will never rent a car from National.
