AIRPORT PICK UP • After you have arrived at Cairns Airport, cleared customs, and collect your luggage, phone us on 1800 150 850 and select option 1 request our free shuttle service. Domestic Terminal: Exit the terminal past carousel 3. Wait at the bus bays marked 1 - 12 for your JUCY shuttle to arrive. International Terminal: Exit the terminal, turn left and follow signs to the BUS & TOUR GROUP PICK UP area. Our last airport pick up is 3.30pm on weekdays and 1.30pm on weekends.

AIRPORT DROP OFF • After you have returned your vehicle, jump on board the next shuttle bus at the JUCY branch. • We recommend returning your vehicle at least 45 minutes before you need to be at the airport.

In terms of travelling there, most of the roads are sealed however there are areas where the roads are unsealed and we have some rules you need to be aware of if you do take your JUCY wheels there. If you take your vehicle on any off-road activities or conditions, including on any unsealed road (being a road not sealed with a hard material such as tar, bitumen or concrete) then our excess reduction cover does not provide cover should anything happen. Off-road conditions include: fire trails, beaches, sand, tracks, fields or paddocks. The only exception to this is reasonable use of access roads to recognized commercial campgrounds. To find out more, refer to the terms and conditions. If there is any damage incurred to the vehicle on the ferry, our excess reduction cover stands void.

Best to bite the bullet and go with a tier 1 rental company. By the time you travel to the depot and pay for insurance, you're better off hiring a car based at the airport.

We had to organise our own movements from the airport to the Jucy pickup point as there was no room in the transfer vehicle?. Excuses were made but we spoke to another worker who suggested they are just lazy!. That, I believe.

Definitely a budget operation. All the cars I had the opportunity to hire had plenty of knocks to them. If you are used to premium car hire operators with new, good condition vehicles Jucy may not be the best choice for you.

The car was quite old but anyway the price is cheap. What you pay is what you get. Upon arrival, I tried to call the hotline several times for airport pick-up but no luck, I had to take uber to go to the location and pay $34, it was quite disappointing at the beginning but after raising the concern with the staff, they arranged reimbursement for the same so all good in the end. The staff are professional and accommodating.
