Customer can take the vehicle on a Ferry to Kangaroo Island. Any damage happens to vehicle while the car is on a ferry, customer is fully responsible up to the full value of the car.

Depending on which island to bring the rental cars to, policies differ:
Bruny Island, Gove Peninsula, Tasmania, North Stradbroke Island
Rental cars can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads.Vehicles are not to be taken above the snow line.Excluded from the protection is driving on beaches or through streams, dams, rivers or flood water.There is no insurance cover in Bruny Island. Hertz will allow Customers to take the vehicle to Bruny Island, however they will be liable for any damage to the vehicle up to the Accident Damage Excess (ADE) amount per incident. Please refer to the Hertz Australia T&C’s for full details
