Got charged double what I paid on the website by Budget, only found out few days after coming home. Had to make several calls before getting my money back.

Car was changed to Fiat 500, no issues with that. Paid for both my wife and myself to drive car, insurance docs backed this up, Budget refused to sanction my wife driving as they claimed we hadn't both hired the car. Will not use this company again, as any questions were met with "unable to help" and apparent language difficulties, although demanding extra payments were easily said.
We waited for 90min after a 16h flight to receive our car. The car we booked wasnt available. Never mind, no guarantee for the booked class.
The issue was the very long waiting time with not enough agents at the desk and IT systems that didnt work. Very tedious - have experienced way better in Italy even with the low cost rental companies.
Our car got damaged and immediately after returning the car EUR 1400 was charged to my credit card. Without any information on the actual damage. I called the hotline, very rude and not helpful at all. In the end the guy just hang up the phone. Explained to me that the actual damage was below EUR 1000 after three weeks but refuse to return the outstanding monnies. BIG Mistake to book Budget.
Budget is poorest rent company, I booked a Benz A class automatic car, the staff forced to accept cheap cars and said I have no options only automatic I have to accept.
The staff attitude here is so bad i had never seen. They said you can wait or accept their offer.
Then I wait about two hours eventually, they offered me a Audi A6 and forced me to buy a full insurance.
I told them I have already purchased a full cover separate, they said I need to buy extra expensive insurance there, otherwise I can't take the car I want.

I did not get the car I booked and nothing similar available so had to take a larger vehicle (in any other location would have been OK), but driving in Naples and Amalfi coast, was not appropriate.
The agent wanted to sell more than I had booked and paid for, unnecessary, all I wanted after 2 flights and day of travel is to collect the keys and get to hotel ........... queue was ridiculous and the same selling of unnecessary additions tok forever for each customer.
Sign the contract, shown existing damages on the contract and told to check the car before leaving. Contract signed @ 17:00, collect keys check car, contract sent by email, so cannot check the significant amount of scrapes and dents on this vehicle, all dents were new and not documented, luck I took photos at the airport in the parking bay before i left!
Заказывали машину в для недельной поездки по Неаполю, брали у компании Budget непосредственно в аэропорту.
И машиной и сервисом остались вполне довольны. Машина была с мелкими дефектами/царапинами, но никаких проблем при сдаче авто это не вызвало. Выдали автомобиль быстро. По ходу дела пытались, как сейчас заведено :), предложить ещё доп страховку (уточню, у нас сразу было оплачено полное каско), мы вежливо отказались, никто настаивать не пытался.
Вернули авто чуть позже назначенного времени без каких либо проблем. Поэтому в целом остались довольны услугами компании budget и непосредственно сайта EasyRentCars!
Car assigned was below my expectation and counter staff did not clearly explained, but only said "car for you is Fiat 500 and because you want a auto transmission car". She is very rude and bad attitude and raised her voice at me, Despite i was not rude to her except that i feel cheated when she told me i got a Fiat 500.
I got no choice but to accept it and when i go by myself to collect the car, i realise it is Fiat 500L. She could have explained it properly.
The wait to pick up the car in Naples was long - about one hour. The stations were all manned, it just seems that it takes a long time to process each customer in Italy.
The counter staff was really pushy about us buying their extra insurance, when we refused she got nasty about it. There was damage recorded on the car at pickup however when we returned it Budget tried to claim we did it and get us to pay for the damage. It took 2 weeks to get it resolved. we were on a cruise and communication was hard. we have since read reviews online and see this kind of treatment common from Budget in the Rome Airport.
It is a shame that this location gives Budget a bad reputation as we have rented from Budget numerous times and never had any problems.

Booking was easy, especially liked the rebooking if the price dropped by 20% feature. Saved us a considerable amount of money.
Easyrentcars was very helpful with helping us deal with a problem we had with the rental company
Efficient service. Didn't provide the car that was requested, i dont think a peugeot 308 sw is similar a bmw 2series but the car drove well, was comfortable and modern. Returning the car was quick and straightforward.

I wanted a fiat Panda but when I arrived after half an hour of waiting my at the desk was told there was only a Mercedes available for me at an extra cost of €40 per day.on top of that I was accusedtof causing scratches on the car of which I have absolutely no idea whether they were there before or after my rental. I certainly didn't collide with anyone. Either way I made an appeal and was told that depending on the appeal, they would take €400/500 out of my account in the event of repairing the car. I'm pretty sure from the scratches that were there visible you could possibly just clean them off, why the hundreds of euros is necessary I don't know, and furthermore from my own pocket is scandalous. This os just a rip off company who'll try to scam you out of every penny they can. Yes the car and location was nice but they customer service and hidden charges are just awful. Would not recommend to anyone. They won't be getting another penny out of me as I won't allow them to charge me for damage that has nothing to do with me. Especially considering I didn't even get the car I wanted in the first place.
