BUDGET CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN ITALY

Did not get the car that I’ve payed for, also not automatic gear available at the pick up, so we couldn’t add an extra driver

I ordered Mercedes-Benz Class B Full Size Wagon, but got Mercedes Class A small car. The service at Budget Fuimicino was terrible - there were no cars left when we arrived (10 pm), so we had to take what there was. I forgot to add full waiving insurance during booking and second driver. I ended paying over $600. I'm extremely disappointed with Budget and will never rent with them again

They don't have BMW. So it;s a scum. Instead they provide us Reno Scenic what died 5 times because of batter y issue. Not sure that scenic and bmw is the same class. We spend more than 2 hours in Malpenso airport location on counter just to pick up that terrible car. And as a plus car has a lot of damages

As usual easyrentcars did what they suppose to do. No issues. Only one suggestion - remove all scums from partners.

We booked an automatic specifically but when we arrived late on Sunday night with 2 children we were told there were none available. Then they tried to get us to take a car with a totally damaged wing mirror and a light out,

This was straightforward but I would recommend paying upfront.

Pick up and drop off were both a smooth process. Florence is a busy location so worth allowing at least 30-60mins to collect your car.

My parents collected the car and unbeknown to them were sold some additional insurance, despite saying they didn't need it. The first they knew was a bill in the post when they got home for an additional 180euros. A tad steep when the initial rental cost was only £88. This is in the process of being resolved, hopefully by budget. But beware and make sure you check everything before you sign.

All we well done. The counter staff, Mr. Rossello was exceptionally well spoken and helpful.

Booked a Mercedes B class estate (or similar) got a Skoda estate which I was told was equal to a Merc... Thought I then agreed for the delta between used fuel and full tank, not a full tank so again was fleeced of an extra 50 euros. Price doesn't include VAT which is misleading. Kids' car seat pricing is a con as is the charge for an extra driver...

The status of the car and the car itself were below my expectations. It was a Fiat Qubo which has central-locking problems and i had to go back to the pick-up location twice. Also it was not the kind of car that i had requested for.

The car was far less than expectation

This rental ended up costing more than USD$900 with no clear explanation. This is outrageous and I have received no assistance whatsoever from multiple employees at your offices in Bologna Airport and Milan Malpensa Airport. The amount far exceeds our agreed contracted to price without any justification.

I loved the Audi A3 hatch I got from Budget. Inside was super clean but outside was not washed. But in one way I did not had to worry about washing when returning the car. It was super easy to pick the car and also to drop it. One of the smoothest transactions ever.

First time user. This platform impressed me to another level. I wouldn’t think of using any other platform for car rentals other than EasyRentCars. Thank you for making this so easy for me.

Terrible customer service we were treated like imbeciles they should make sure they re train the agents on how to deal with paying customers

Additional fees applied when we picked the vehicle up including a 'one-way service fee'. Prepay fuel fees were for a larger vehicle that we ended up not receiving, but we were billed the higher amount anyway. Overall, around £30 in surprise fees. Won't be using again.

Car collection took a very long time, well over an hour. Luckily the Firenze staff member greeting us was extremely helpful. The car itself was not great - a button on the fob unlocks the boot and if you are not aware of this then the boot can fly open - happened to us on motorway and those following us were very lucky to avoid collision. Avoid Fiat Qubo!

Very simple and good value, will use again Rebooking feature is briliant!
