The car was almost brand new and in great condition. Picking it up and dropping it off was super easy and fast!

Absolutely fantastic

It was okay overall, nothing particularly good or bad, just pretty average.

Everything went smoothly overall. The front windshield did crack though, and I’m currently dealing with the insurance claim.

Picked up and dropped off with Europcar right at the airport, super convenient since we’d booked in advance. They do block a 500 deposit on your card, which they say will be released after you return the car. I’ve just dropped it off, so now I’ll see how fast the refund comes through.

Picking up the car at the airport was super easy. The only downside was that over Chinese New Year there weren’t as many car options and prices weren’t as good as usual, but everything else was great. The staff asked if I wanted to add roadside assistance, I did the math and decided to get it—just over NZD 11 a day for peace of mind while driving.

Pretty good overall, especially for my first time using them.

They even gave us a free upgrade on the car, which was awesome.

The car was in great shape, practically brand new. It was a big SUV that fit all 5 of us comfortably, and the diesel engine was surprisingly fuel-efficient.

Final rental was handled by Europcar and the cross-island car swap was smooth and hassle-free, really impressed.

Really good overall. Great location, and I’m guessing the service and quality are solid too since there were quite a few customers, so I had to wait a bit to pick up the car.
