The provided vehicle was old and full of scratches. During a 5-day rental, we had to stop at a highway service area to refuel. After parking for about ten minutes, the vehicle wouldn't start due to its own issues. Following coordination with the car rental platform, we exchanged the vehicle at a Lisbon branch, but this delay caused a 7-hour interruption. On May 29, we returned the car on time in Madrid. The vehicle breakdown caused a 7-hour delay, leading to significant panic and anxiety. Not only did we receive no compensation, but one week and three weeks after the return, 1700 euros were deducted from my credit card twice. This rental company provides poor quality vehicles and is very dishonest. During the vehicle exchange in Lisbon, the staff prohibited recording and threatened to sue us if we did.
This was my first time using this rental company and also my first time renting an electric car. Overall, I was not satisfied with the service. Charging the car in Portugal was very inconvenient, and the rental company told me I needed to download a charging app.
I booked a Tiguan but got a Lynk & Co 01 hybrid at pickup. The battery was mostly empty so I used it as a regular car. The exterior was fine, but the internal cleaning was average. The car had good power. Most highways in Italy have a speed limit of 110-130 km/h. The car's condition was average, with maintenance notifications and low antifreeze levels, which I topped up. Adding insurance at the store made everything go smoothly.
The rental company staff picked us up from the airport and took us to the office to complete the paperwork. They explained everything clearly when we had questions, and we returned the car to the same location using GPS coordinates.
I strongly advise against using this company if you're in a hurry. They are the only ones without a desk at the airport. Then I saw a staff member talking to two customers, apparently about not being able to use debit cards or Amex. After a long wait, he finally spoke to me but didn't help with my luggage. The rental point was very far away, and there was only one staff member, so I had to wait a long time to get the car. Returning the car was even more exaggerated, with another long wait. The shuttle bus took a long time to arrive and was full, so I had to wait even longer. If you're in a hurry, avoid this company. Additionally, if you return the car at night, be extra cautious as the route to the return point is very desolate and scary.

The wait time for picking up the car was very long (more than an hour in line). The staff lacked patience and demonstrated poor service attitude. The car provided was old and had over 83,000 kilometers on it. When the car broke down, Rent-A-Car customer service said the car was new, which was incorrect. After driving about 30 kilometers and parking, the battery wouldn't charge and the car wouldn't start. It broke down in the parking lot. I called the car rental company, and it took more than 2 hours for the rescue vehicle to arrive. I requested a replacement vehicle, and they provided a car with significant damage to the right rear door. There were better-conditioned cars available in the parking lot, but they chose to give me the damaged one as a replacement. This impacted my travel plans, and the rental company did not offer any compensation or a satisfactory replacement. This rental experience was very poor!
Had to wait a bit to pick up the car, but returning it took only a few minutes. The deposit was refunded immediately. Will choose this company again next time.
