130 dollars paid for a tiny impact on the car windshield is just a robbery!
Furthermore, at the Check-in it was impossible to chancel the GPS, finally useless! Bad experience!
We waited for over an hour for the car to be ready despite arriving 2 hours after our scheduled pick up time. This is not acceptable and needs to be rectified.
The counter staff at Budget could not have been more helpful. Although our pickup point was not busy we found the staff to be 100% professional and helpful. The car was ready for collection and was spotlessly clean.

The booking process including selection of insurance was very straightforward. An email enquiry was answered very quickly and accurately.
Very helpful and pleasant East European man at pick-up point in the shopping mall. Had an upgraded car which we didn't really want - preferred smaller car. None of the nasty surprises we've had with other companies lately.
The car was booked for 1pm. We arrived at that time to find a huge queue at the counter, and a large number of frustrated customers waiting near the doors. It took ONE HOUR to get to the top of the waiting line. At that point the Budget staff member told me that I would have to wait for the car as not enough cars were available! I now realised why so many other customers were very angry and waiting also.
When I complained about this I was told that my pick up time was 1pm and it was now 2pm. I replied that I had to wait in the queue for ONE HOUR! He told me I would need to wait for the car "10 minutes".
As it turned out we had to wait ANOTHER HOUR before we were called to collect the keys!!!
We had to wait with our children for a total of TWO HOURS before we got the car! This is despite the fact that we had prebooked the car.
Very poor service!
The Budget staff clearly could not cope with the demand.

Easy booking, would do again, but not with Budget!
la voiture n'était pas de la même catégorie que la réservation, j'ai payé un supplément pour avoir la catégorie prévu, mais voiture presque neuve donc pas trop décu.
La voiture de location était parfaite, lors de récupération nous avons passé 50 minutes pour trouver le véhicule, nous sommes retourné au guichet, heureusement un employé a eu la gentillesse de nous accompagner jusqu'au véhicule.
Le personnel au sous sol a été formidable et compréhensif.

Parfait et très clair sur la plate forme de réservation.
I rented the cheapest car but it proved inadequate. My wife actually got sick from the vehicle. It was too small and too tinny. That was entirely on me. I contacted Budget and the next day was able to exchange the small car for a 2019 Ford Taurus that proved to be awesome. Additionally, I rented the first vehicle at the airport and was able to exchange the vehicle in Victoria. I then was able to drop off the second vehicle back at the airport. Awesome service!
The car was exactly wht I needed, small and economic with gas. One thing, they said the car was full, but in reality missed at least 7$ of gas. I bring it bas around the same amount it was and I didn't have problem.
Car was fine but the service on pick up was absolutely awful. Long line at the desk then staff tried to up sell. Eventually booked in and then had to wait for the car for about 45 minutes! What is the point of booking on line?
Definitely would not recommend using this company.
Had a much better experience in Calgary with Enterprise.

Des frais supplémentaires au moment du retrait du véhicule, avec des explicitations pas très claires. Du coup notre tarif de location peu élevé au départ a doublé. Par exemple, on nous fait payer un plein d'essence entier, même si on loue une voiture pour moins de 48h pour faire juste quelques kilomètres dans le coin, une façon peu honnête d'encaisser beaucoup d'argent. Imaginez ce gain multiplié par des milliers de voitures louées !
Alors que sur tous les lieux touristiques, nous avons rencontré des personnes parlant aussi le français (langue du Québec, province canadienne), chez Budget, personne ne parlait le français.

quick and good service. We were expecting a focus sized car which we chose due to the focus having a large boot space. Unfortunately we ended up with a civic with a very inadequate boot space.
