This was a difficult pickup as there was a credit card issue and there was no other option to exchange the card without cancelling and rebooking. Eventually resolved after over 1 hour. Car was acceptable but options on tolls not clearly explained.

Last car for rent at moment if pick up, not at optimal condition due to several minor scratch and visible the front suffer damaged. Excellent customer service by dollars personel at Logan airport.

We got a car that exceeded our expectation, bigger than expected as we booked an intermediate size. The only complaint was that the external cleaning service was not working at the day of the pickup and we received a very dirty car (mud, dust etc'). The interior was clean. We were NOT notified by the desk service and had to come back after seeing the car to verify this is ok. Otherwise a smooth pickup and dropoff.

Car booked was a “mystery” car for “5 passengers”. What we got was a Chrysler Trax which is a subcompact SUV. It was very small. How is was supposed to accommodate 5 passengers with any luggage is unclear.

Hertz said they had no cars available because I had booked less then 24hrs before my booking. The lady at the counter said she didn't have to honour bookings that were booked less then 24 hour before the collection time. She confirmed this with her colleagues. She said try other companies but they are probably full as it's Christmas eve. I tried a few other companies and they all had no availability. I went back to the same hertz counter and lady and asked if they had anything available. She said no. I asked was there anything even a van, anything. eventually she said they had a Tesla but it was over $1000 for the 3 days. I had already paid €254 to QEED. The $1000 was too much. I contacted QEED who asked me to ask for a letter saying they had no cars available, I asked the lady at the counter for this, she said she can't do this but to ask the manager who she said was somewhere downstairs. I went looking for her for about 20 minutes asking other staff in the car park etc. I then came back to the counter and said I can't find the manager to the lady. Then another lady stepped forward who was the manager. I explained that I was told there was no cars but I had a confirmed booking. She instantly said take any car as if there was no issue in the first place. Of course I was delighted with this. The lady who made everything complicated then processed my booking as if nothing had happened. It was stressful and I don't understand why it was made so complicated. The lady behaved as if nothing happened. Even how she said they have no cars was as if she was saying something totally unimportant. Strange experience, I think the staff must be exhausted as it seemed like dealing with an emotionless person. Its as if she was telling me where the bathroom was not 'we don't have any cars and your holiday is potentially gonna be very stressful lets see what I can do to help.' Luckily I was on my own and felt quite relaxed as I wasn't in a rush this day. In the end I got a TESLA for the same price which was great. Just odd to priced at $1000 + then told its no extra just take anything. I am a gold member of Hertz perhaps that helped. I don't know. Everybody else was great to deal with expect the lady at the counter. Very strange.

Queue was long but moved quickly. No upsell at the counter, member of staff very quick processing paperwork, kind and friendly to the children. Collecting car we were offered a number of choices and were able to suit the car that best met our luggage needs. Car was new which was so nice.

Good counter service but vehicle not where it was supposed to be and when found it needed refuelling which was disappointing as we wanted to get away whilst still light. Overall delay about 20 minutes but staff were helpful throughout.

Everyone and everything was nice But the nice gentleman who handed over the car and briefed us about everything was exceptional. Only hiccup is when i didn't find anyone in the kiosk during return. And fact they take the key and not give you any return conformation is confusing

The Payless counter is hidden withinh the Avis desk. I walked the area 2x before I found someone that told me that. Then, The car I received was not in its spot. I had to go all the back to counter and start the process over. it set me back a good 30-60 minutes ☹️

We reserved a Toyota Rav4 but agent at the desk said "I have your Mitubishi Outlander ready" I said , uhhmm we really like the Rav4. she called Avis and got 1 from them. Really cool. Never seen that before.

Hello, This is in regard to the above booking reference that I reserved for last week in Boston. Upon arrival at Logan Airport and standing at the Payless counter, I was told that the "Jeep Grand Cherokee" wasn't avalible & I had to settle for something comparable which I understand 100%. I was then given a Chevy Equinox which is an entry level SUV not a mid size SUV like I had requested, I complained to the agent to no avail. In the auto/rental car industry "Comparable" with the Jeep Grand Cherokee should be something like a Ford Explore, Chevrolet Traverse or a Pathfinder... not a Equinox. I am a big guy (5'11 300 lb) I don't mind driving the Equinox but I wanted something more roomy and thats why I chose the Jeep and paid $469.95. I asked for some sort of a discount at the counter but it seems that I was speaking with a Robot without any customer service skills. In todays Social Media World (Big Fan) every rental car company should pick it up a notch and stay competitive with the Avis's of the world. The drop off was confusing, the lane was blocked by cones, and it was not clearly marked. No one was available at Kiosk and the instrucions to continue on to the inside counter were not clearly visible. No other auto rentals require this extra step.

We didn't get the car from Europcar as booked but advantage which we'd never heard of! Got hard sell on pre paid toll charge and refuelling. Both were overpriced and and inaccurately sold we we found out after the event.

Yes, the car exceeded my expectations. Great on gas and stress-free. When I picked it up is was a bit dirty on the outside. overall, it was a great car. Finding the Advantage counter to pick up the car was a bit of a struggle as the signage is really small compared to the other counters.

The only problem was that I had to wait a long time for the car. Although there were 3 agents working at the desk, I had to wait about 30 minutes to get served. I am not sure why this was the case. Fortunately I came early and picked up my wife on time, as she had just flown in.

The pick-up station was difficult to find. I spent an 1:40 waiting to get my rental. It was a KIA instead of a Toyota Camry. Even though I paid in advance, I was charged the initial booking fee plus the additions (fuel fill, EZ Pass), plus a $200 deposit. The email provided after turn-in showed 672 miles and 1/4 tank of gas. That is pretty amazing gas mileage as I did not put any fuel into the car.

I was disappointed in the condition of the car. The fuel was only 7/8 full and it was diesel. I was not told it was a diesel car at check in and might have rejected it because of the difficulty finding diesel fuel. The tire inflation light was on when I got the car and I had to take it to be filled and reset the sensors. Finally, there was trash in the trunk. I rent a car because I do not want to maintain it. My experience with EZ rent was excellent, but this car was not ready to be released.
