They tried to sell me full insurance without needed. I informed them i dont want and again they put it in the contract. Thank God i saw before sign. In drop off they put me 10$ to be charged without informing what it is. Again i noticed and i came back. They remove it and print another final reciept without apologising or telling me what was the mistake! Terrible
In the beginning, the customer service staff kept saying that there was no available booked car and tried to ask me to upgrade. After negotiations for a while, I finally got another car in the same class as what I booked.
When I picked up the car, the tire pressures were something wrong. But luckily, the on-site staff helped me to fix it.
We booked a Ford focus or similar to fit two suitcase in. Budget tried to give us a Ford fiesta claiming it was the same thing and sell us an upgrade. They ended up giving us a Kia sol. When the bags didn't fit the persons handing over the car was very unhelpful and walked off after putting the seats down and throwing the bags in saying it was fine as there were only two of us. We went back into the office and and spoke to a different person who sorted us a car with a big enough boot to fit 2 bags in out of sight.
Their prices are the cheapest available and that comes with other prices. 30 min long line of people and no cars of the type you book are part of it. Other rentals will offer you free upgrade, budget will charge you for this and give you car you dont want - in my case it was truck. Lady at the counter told me that its not too big and she is driving it her self and it got back camera for parking which is necessity in LA and that mid size SUV is too small for 3 people. When I wanted different, smaller car they offered me mustang (literally the opposite of big car). Apparently I can wait until someone return car I booked and then I can take it. I canceled my booking and went to Dollar which is very well organized. Until today Im waiting for refund from budget.
Only thing missing were how to handle tolls on highways with the device installed in the vehicle and how to pay the tolls after rental.
Also it could be nice to have a more clear overview of requirements regarding insurance, it’s always a jungle!
The pricess at the time of pickup was very disorganized. It took a long wait and post that they booked the same car for 3 customers.
We were sent back to the exchange section and had to start the process from the scratch.

I went to budget before renting a car , I assumed that budget will give me a price less than EasyRentCars. Unfortunate they gave me the car for 2800$ I was shocked! I told the lady on the counter that I found it cheaper, so I will book it online, she replied that would take an hour to appear on the system. I opened on EasyRentCars I found the car I want for 860$ I booked it. I went to the lady after 10 minutes she found my rental. I took the car for 1077$ with all total cost.

The service at the counter was slow and not professional.
Car I was given was not just very very dirty inside and out side but was making a noise. I told this to the lady when leaving the barrier but she only said fill out the form.
Didn’t even speak proper English.
I rented the car for 2 weeks and had to leave the Las Vegas. I got a headache driving the car.
When I was back in alps Angeles I was told go to Burbank Airport Budget/Avis.
When I went there I was refused a replacement and told off.
I called Budget/Avis Number and I was told
To call Recovery team.
I said I am standing at on of your branche and the car is making a noise not broken down.
I had to ask for the Manager to be heard.
Then an Avis Manager at Burbank Airport helped me and changed my car to one that was much cleaner and with no technical issues.
His name is Armon and truly a nice and friendly person.
23 July 8 Pm.The driver of shuttle bus send me at LAX arrival terminal instead of departure terminal. He say that the traffic is too Jam. So I try to carry my 2 big baggages up to second floors to Departure gate by myself..(very far) . Don’t do this again
