Avis service was good, but I rented a Camry and got a Malibu XL... a fighter jet. On the way to Las Vegas, the warning lights came on and it lost power, felt like the turbo was broken.
Tried to give me a dirty heavily damaged Malibu and when I asked for another. I was told by a very rude guy that I’m renting a USED car! The car was so dirty and damaged that I insisted and was finally given a presentable car.
We agreed to pick up the car a bit earlier and return it on time, charging by the day. However, when returning the car (because we picked it up two hours early), they charged us for two days, which seems like a clear case of malice.
Had to wait in line for an hour late at night. The additional driver option in the order was missing, and had to resolve it through Zuzuche. The final solution was to pay upfront and get reimbursed after completing the order.
