No one at the Melbourne office answers the phone and I had to ring Singapore to get a message across that my flight was delayed
I had no idea if the buses were still running. Not good service
Happy with the overall customer service.
You might not get the car you order but will get a similar one.
At least, leave 30mins to 1 hour for shuttle service time+paperwork.

I asked the easyrentcars to change my dropoff and pickup times as I used the default times mistakenly. I haven't heard from them until now after one week of my trip.

About ACE Rental Cars:6.3/10
Car was not cleaned properly & figured battery was flat after filling Fuel 2 km’s Before drop off station. Almost missed the flight but Katie from the counters saved the day for them. While the guy Albert refused to take me to the airport Katie did. Kudo’s to her & she dropped me 3 minutes before bag drop closed off. Waiting & being able to get in touch was an absolute stress ..
Got upgraded. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It's difficult at first to locate the shuttle bus but as this was the second time, it was easier.

About ACE Rental Cars:8.3/10
The first car offered was a larger one than we booked- we asked to change to the car we booked (Toyota Corolla hatch). A Hyundai 30 was offered, which we accepted. However there were some technical problems with the car and the service officer had to find another one. 3 cars and more than 1 hour from arriving at the pick up point. The customer service was fine, it appears there may be a quality assurance problem.
The drop off went extremely well.
All customer service staff were very polite and helpful.
Staff at counter are rude and lack of information. They did not explain most of the thing regarding car rental such as toll payment and other stuff which is not listed in the term and condition section. Staff at counter are representing ACE and I don’t recommend renting from ACE.
The customer service of Ace is very poor. Michael and Jake were very unhelpful and showed no interest in job. Jake was very rude and refused to come out when I had to ask something about the hand break. He said its not his responsibility. All I did i asked to show the hand break as it was at the foot site. A smirk on the face and doesn't care attitude. I have given back the another car I rented the last week 6 days back and bond payment of that car is not yet released. I am still chasing them. Never going back to ACE.

Pick up and drop off was smooth. Car was in great condition. No pushy sale from staff, which was great, but staff simply just gave us car key without directing or gave instruction to the car location. We witnessed other staffs brought their customers to the car. Dissatisfied with this as we did not know where to get the car and had to get another employee to help us. Other than that, all was good.
