Good service at the counter but car is old

Car was as expected and performed up to expectations although I only did 75 km

The fastest car rental pick up and drop off. I love that you enter your details online and only need to verify on the day, rather than provide them again (which seems to be the case with many other rental agencies).

Smooth pick up by shuttle bus from Melbourne airport to their collection point. From there no hassles at all. Car in excellent condition. Would use them again.

Corolla sedan was a 2019 model with 77K kilometres on the clock. So in average condition. Not a high end car. However, the car was easy to drive and went well. Counter staff were insistent that damage incurred would cause a $5500 penalty charge. And a refundable deposit of $1000 would be charged to my credit card and refunded if no damage. However, by paying the daily waiver fee (car and windows/tyres seperately, (approx $45 per day) then no deposit or penalty charge would apply. Staff took about 20 pics of car before pickup while we waited and another 20 pics when we returned - also while we waited which i found very annoying. I have booked a lot of cars in Australia and Overseas and i found then to be the most vigorous with these car examinations

Some functionality issues with car (usb was damaged rending it unusable) and Bluetooth was playing up a small amount. But overall car met all transportation needs and requirements.

Wish log in and account access was easier, liked that the insurance option directly was much cheaper than hire company costs were. Will use again.

Given smaller car at same value as the booked one was no available even though I arrived on time.

Process was smooth but the app is confusing and don’t know how to add discounts or make most of any features or offers

The staff were great actually. I had to make two different reservations with the first being for 2 days before the second reservation. They were able to combine the two so I didn't have to come back after the first reservation. Everything went smooth and that is how I like it.

Wasn't the car we had booked but that's ok. The guy at the desk tried to pressure us into taking out the extra insurance. It seems their staff are trained to push for this as the lady next to him repeated the exact same speech to another customer. I treated the car as my own. Garaged it every night. When we took it back there was a scratch on a wheel cover. They took all my bond pending a damage investigation. It's wear and tear! I have rented cars for 15 years and have never had any sort of problem. Until I met these guys.

Dealer did not initially accept the qeeq deposit/voucher. Needed to negotiate and get a refund for this.

Cheaper to book on Qeeq than with East Coast direct. Very worth it. They will try to upsell insurance but that's ok so long as you explain you have your own. Though you'd need to put in a 1k AUD deposit by card. Got a lower end SUV however but all good.

Rebooked using the price drop protector. Super worth it.

Continue to be pleased with cars hired from East Coast. Always great value. Always supplied with the car requested. Always confident that the car will perform well and has been well-maintained. (Cairns office of East Coast deserve special mention as their cars are always immaculate inside & out!)

The car was amazing to drive!

Price that QEEQ quoted didn’t happen,had to pay 658 Australian Dollars, After signing paperwork I was informed of over 30 scratches and damage to the car. Also included in the price was car insurance, despite me stating I had car insurance. Felt like they tricked me, could have increased damage marks on my return of the car. Seemed a bit of a scam company.

East Coast car and services are good. Wast Coast located inside the car park, there is no sign which is visible from the street, it is hard to find.

Some of the staff were brilliant and very helpful. One particular staff member was unprofessional and inattentive and quite rude. We had a few issues with the car. A tire had popped and when we went to change it there were parts missing from the jack and the spare was flat. I wish I had paid better attention to staff members names as one of them was outstanding. His customer service was impeccable and you could see he loved his job. The other made me feel uncomfortable and seemed like he wanted to aggravate the situation

Car was great, service was quick, airport pick up and drop was very punctual.

Would definitely book again, staff are great and process very quick and smooth

only issue is that the car pickup location is a 5min drive away from OOL. They do provide shuttle service. But my return flight was at 8am, so had to take an Uber back to OOL as they only open at 7am. Overall car had no issue that’s the most impt.
