The car was supplied with visable damage to front fender/guard. When driving above 90km/h the car tended to drift around curves. Other than that it was a good car. Only 91 was used for fuel, it performed well on this. Staff were good, friendly and courteous.
We arrived at sydney airport after 24 hrs of flying and were left waiting on the sidewalk for 40min by apex car hire. We called every 10minutes and each time they said they will be there in 10 more minutes. We had two young kids with us and spent over an hour and 15min just trying to get our car. Awful.

Car was great but we had an early international flight and it was a hassle, almost missed our trip back to the US because the office was not opened before 8am and we had to go to another location to drop the car (and wait 30+ minutes for the next shuttle). Otherwise all was great, loved the car, the support staff was really good, just that drop off and not knowing that we could not drop off early was a pain.

The vehicle was great on fuel on the motorway but not great in suburbs. The automatic gearbox is awful. Space is good. Vehicle has cruise control and bluetooth media connectivity which is great.
BAD SERVICE AND HOTLINE NOT WORKING!
Our flight was 10 am at the morning, the staff told us 3 hours prior to returning the car. When we arrived Apex at 7 am in the date of return. The office was only open at 8 am.
The staff knew we will take the 10 am flight when we pickup the car, but didn’t remind us the office opening hours and the out side office hours drop off arrangement. And we tried to contact Apex by the hotline number shows at the office front door, which never connected.
Very bad service and bad experience.

The staff members were courteous, cheerful and very helpful. Pick up and drop off was timely and efficient and the drivers were very professional in their work. Finally, the vehicle was clean and well presented and exceeded our expectations. This was our first experience with Apex and, given our experience, it will not be our last.

Wanted to extend the time period and was told I could have the same rate. But when putting basic insurance on it double the price. Even though I had insurance on the first booking included.
Counter help at pickup was friendly and helpful. I noted that the tire tread was very close to required safety replacement. Then during trip a piece of gravel poked a hole through tread surface and the tire shop would not repair it due to tread depth. I ended up having to buy Apex a new tire.
Still waiting, for the return of the $100AUD deposit for toll charges.
Having rented cars abroad before and come across rogues in this industry who bang on extras at the counter & invent damage, it was so refreshing to deal with a company who were efficient, courteous and above all, trustworthy ! I will definitely use them again !
Car was only 6months old and very appropriate for our long journey, 5k.
Extra satnav was vital for a foreigner.
Very difficult to locate the pick-up bus at Sydney Airport. Staff excellent once we did and collection staff were superb.
After reading some negative reviews by other car renters I was worried to have the same issues. However, I had an all-around pleasant rental experience with Apex. Both shuttles in Sydney and in Melbourne came after only a short wait, their drivers were very friendly and professional, and so was the rental counter staff, the car I got was a 2018 Accent with $14K miles on it and was very clean. I would rent with Apex again. Why pay much more with other companies?

Great face to face. Shuttle collection process must be improved. I called at opening time and gave my name but it appeared that the shuttle didn't attempt to collect me or it drove past and did not collect me.
Everything okay till I decided to extend the rent of the car for another month spoke to a gentleman on the phone asked if I could get the same rate he said yes when I got there I put it up by 33% not happy
