CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON ACE RENTAL CARS AT SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, SYD

Like: Convenient shuttle service!!
Dislike: Shuttle to airport took a while. Maybe 2 shuttles will help?

Like: Staff effieicincy and friendliness.
Dislike: Time to pick up at airport.

Like: Car was great, clean, comfortable and good value.
Dislike: Took a good while for shuttle to arrive and then not enough staff for car full of pick ups to handle at one time. Maybe just unlucky to have so many arrivals in one batch. Car had damage that had not been previously noted on sheets.

Like: Price

Like: We got a free upgrade and navigation. AirPort shuttle was on time and a short drive. Frienly and organized staff
Dislike: I missed the option to hire navigation while making the reservation. Glad the staff could fix it for us.

Counter staff were very polite and made process straight forward, have used them before, and would use again. Would prefer to have car signed off with receipt on return.

Like: Price.
Dislike: I don’t mean to be rude but our driver just smelt a little bit.

Like: I liked that I received a free upgrade to a Toyota Rav 4. It was a lovely car and suited the requirements of my trip to visit family and friends on the South Coast. The fuel economy was very good also.
Dislike: I liked everything about the experience.

ACE RentalCars, makes it easy for us to rent a vehicle

Not convenient to pick up / drop off. Not given the car I booked and the car is old and dirty. Disappointed and will not choose ACE next time.

The only disadvantage of ACE Rental Cars was their pick-up-location. Since i booked the car not directly after my flight, i had no shuttle-bus. And there's no public transport going to ACE Rental Cars. So I needed to walk 30 minutes. But all in all i am very happy with ACE and would do it again.

Like: Love the car provided. Clean, good condition.
Dislike: Far place for pick up. But shuttle provided.

There were some things which needed to be fixed on the car: if we had stayed in the Sydney area, I would have taken it back to the airport location and changed it. But we drove down the coast several hundred miles and were not happy to curtail our holiday and take the time to go back to Sydney. So I told the friendly Ace staff when I returned the car. They tried to refund some of my payment, but the computer system prevented it. So I had no compensation for things being wrong.

Like: The lady I picked the car up from was lovely cheery made me feel comfortable.
Dislike: When I dropped the car off I had taken it to the BP around the corner to fill it up, which I definitely did. When I brought the car into the yard I was met by two workers one male one female, the woman went to inspect the car. When she came back she said everything was fine except there was one bar of the fuel gage missing, the way she spoke to me was appalling then the man piped up afte to explained I had just come from the BP to fill and the fuel pump clicked when it was full. He decided to say to me in the most condisending way that I will be charged the price of the fuel they need to put in plus a $50 admin charge, which u then replied I am happy to take the car back to the petrol station to try and put more in, I took the car back to the BP where I put $2 worrh of petrol in which while filling up I made sure the fuel pump Clicked not once but twice! I got receipts for both of the transactions and took it back to the yard where the fuel gage inside the car was still missing a bar. All in all the way I was spoken to was quite abrupt and condisending. Clearly there is an issue with the Cara fuel gage or it takes a lot longer to register the fuel input then normal. I do have another booking with ACE in a few weeks so hopefully I have a better experience at drop off.

Like: The services was great and the car suited out purpose

Car had scratches and dents over it, not like other car rentals for price

Very friendly, helpful and polite staff at pick up and drop off points.

Like: Price, value for money.
Dislike: Location, out of airport

Dislike: I didn't like the distance to express pickup which was not Ace Car Rentals fault but it would be nice if they could pick up from the terminal.

Like: Customer service and easy terms and conditions
Dislike: Nothing can be pointed out
