Overall a good experience. The only frustration was the insurance upsell to ensure a full coverage. QEEQ did warn about this but should provide the full coverage up front so that Europcar cannot do a further upsell.

What price drop protector? And as per above comment, the insurance cover can be handled better by QEEQ.

“EasyRentCars Good, Europcar disastrous”
About Europcar: 4.7 /10
The car was of good quality, however a warning light continuously sounded as an oil change/top up was due. The car was not clean upon pick up. Europcar pick up service was a disaster. We had to queue for over two hours just to pick up the car, with no explanation or offer of compensation. There was not an unsurprisingly large amount of people in the queue - rather there were only two members of staff (there were 8 desk areas) who were very slow. This was completely unacceptable and I will not book with Europcar in the future.

We had to wait two hours for our car at Naples Airport: the ticket system is inefficient, the rental desk too small and understaffed. After the theft of our rental car (1 week into our stay in Italy), we were unable to contact Europcar by phone. They put you on hold for hours, then put the phone down on you or tell you to ring a different number. And they won’t call you back! Absolutely shocking!! We eventually got a new car but it took three days and two long journeys by public transport to get it sorted. Don’t use Europcar!

After 2 days i haven’t received the €500,00 back, and we request polo but we got pegeout instead, new car but not a nice car at all for travelling, aside from this everything was nice, staff and service
