Pricing was a LIE

I had a bad experience. The end price was much higher than what was shown on easyrentcars.com. They had a lot of additional add-ons that I was forced to pay so the end price ridiculous. Wouldn’t use Thrifty again.

Pick up was extremely good at Seattle Airport. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful, got us on the road quickly. Drop-off staff were not as friendly and failed to explain why an early drop off fee was charged despite drop off only being 25 minutes before late fee would be charged. This was extremely disappointing.

The person who was checking us out lied to us about the tolls and talked us into purchasing things we did not need.

It's okay, there were three people handling the process which sped things up.

I arrived early and got the car, but I was charged an extra day's fee.

I booked a Versa or a similar model online. When picking up the car, there was no Versa, only a similar model, the Corolla, but they wanted to charge extra. I refused. Guess what car they gave me? A Toyota Yaris. Terrible service.

I had to wait in line for 10 minutes to pick up the car, but the manager gave me a $50 discount, which was applied immediately. Awesome!

We had to pay an additional $13 fee per day for the privilege of allowing the spouse to drive the car. This is unacceptable and we will not rent a car from Thrifty anymore.

At the passenger pickup point in front of the terminal, a car arrives every 5 minutes. The driver was very enthusiastic and helped us load our luggage. It took 5 minutes to get to the rental place. There were three counters handling cars; the staff were very welcoming and finished the pickup procedures for us. They asked if we needed insurance. I presented the insurance I bought on QEEQ, which was the most comprehensive one. After checking it, they said it was fine and directed us to the backyard for the car pickup. In the yard, we showed our car pickup slip to the staff, who pointed to a range of cars and told us to choose any one in our rental category. We picked a newly washed car.
