Budget at Tenerife South is by far the best hire company with a spacious site, lots of booking staff and almost new- if not new cars on offer!- I now make a bee line to them

Quite pushy with the sell up insurance and clearly weren't happy with me refusing it. I had to point out quite a few damages that weren't on the original damage report. Two days after dropping the car back off they rang me to ask why I hadn't dropped it off yet, I told them when/where I dropped it off, they have emailed me with the end of hire report so guessing it was just an error but they haven't rang back to explain or apologise.

Habiamos reservado un Fortwo, al llegar nos lo cambiaron por un Hyundai I10 y al final nos entregaron un Fiat 500 con 50.000 Kms. Nos hicieron firmar una fianzade 1.209 euros que ya nos han devuelto y otrocargo de10,80 euros en concepto de upgrade y cargo de oficina mas impuestos, cosa que no se nos habia advertido en ningun momento.

Lamentable atención de uno de los empleados de recepción, cuyas agresivas técnicas de persuasión comercial para vender un nuevo seguro de todo riesgo (ya disponía de ese servicio contratado), provocó la disconformidad y reproche incluso de otros clientes que aguardaban su turno para recepcionar otro vehículo. Sin embargo, la atención recibida por el personal que debía entregar y recepcionar el vehículo en la devolución fue completamente distinta, muy atentos, mostrándose muy atentos e informándonos cordialmente de todas las dudas que les planteamos.

They asked for too much bail, I had to pay more than agreed I was charged for cleaning the car. Never happened!!!!

Id like to have my refund because I didn’t take the car, The receptionist came up with lots of fees and also he ask me for £1.000 for deposit, but online the info was totally different ($300 to $500). I paid for extra insurance and he was asking again for more payments!

There were a lot of hidden costs that we were not informed about upfront, including a mandatory €1000 deposit if we didn't pay out for the extra insurance cover, and a €102 fuel deposit (which is more fuel than will even fit in a Fiat 500). Staff also didn't tell us about these costs in one go, even when directly asked 'what is the total we will have to pay'. This created a really negative experience for us and impacted on a lot of our holiday plans. It seemed like this was intentional, a way of forcing people into paying money without giving them the full information in advance, and it felt like we were being scammed. It was also contrary to the information that we received from our broker, Easyrentcars.com, which advised that we could be charged a maximum deposit of up to the equivalent of $500, meaning that we were missold this car hire deal. In future I will avoid Interrent and recommend that others do also.

The woman at the Europcar stop was absolutely wonderful! She helped me to choose a car that would best fit my needs and made the renting experience very easy. She went above and beyond and gave me some great travel recommendations. Also, I loved the car she connected me with (I had initially chosen a different car). I would 100% recommend!!

Horrible, never again. I was pushed into purchasing an insurance worth several hundred euros because I was a female traveling alone-- the gentleman next to me picked up his car without insurance no problems.

I had an email confirming that the the car was off hired and returned with no new damage on the off hire due day (10 11 22) The company has tried to charge my card €720.05 yesterday (10 19 22) with no explanation. Fortunately I use a travel debit card with not much credit and so was declined! I would like an explanation from the hire company please.

I got the car at night, without inspection damage. The next morning I saw a lot of damages on the car. Bit not all damages were indicated in the contract. So I took a photo of all the damages.

Fairly long wait for pick up. Was told when booking online I had paid in full and would pay nothing at pick up. When picking the car up I was required to pay an additional 23€ tax and an 800€ deposit.

The car exceed my expectation. The booking process at the counter was easy. Just need clear sign where to get the pick up area at the airport because the representative waited at 2nd basement. It took a while to ask around.

Good evening, i Made a reservation with you for a car to Tenerife sud for 15 day s. From the confirm that i receive i had a car with Full insurance, and full fuel that i should have to Bring back full, but When i arrived to the agency, After 1 hour that i try to call and looking for the place where they should pick-up us, they told me that i have to pay € 50 for fuel and the guy Was very unprofessional and really rude. And then he told me that When i’ll bring back the car the re is the risk that they’ll not give me the deposit back, because his collegue is really strict. It look likes a threat. I can’t understand what Kind of service you sale. I sue to travel From 25 years also for job, and never ever i had a similar experience. I asked have an explanation about this situation. I pik up the car only because it Was late and i don’t have any chance to go back to the airport. In different case i didn’t pick-up the car and I’ll choose for another car rental. I don’ t want spend my time for bed service and bed person. It’s my holiday and I payed for have a good time here. And actually , at the moment I didn’t have my deposit back yet.
