Wait time and customer service upon collection were both the worst we have experienced.
Stating collection is "in terminal" is very misleading as you have to use a bus to the collection area.
Car was clean and in good condition, exactly what we needed for the trip.
Rental was reasonably priced.
I was charged €70 for a second driver without being told it was extra- I would not have taken it at that price! An extra insurance was added that I did not ask for (€22). All in all I thought the priority was to add as many extra costs as possible “under the radar”!

I had to rent a bigger car because no vehicle was available from the pre-booked category. Small car fits better on narrow streets in Italy. It's OK for me, I'm a rally competitor, but an inexperienced driver would have had trouble with the SUV in historical old towns.

There was a technical mistake on the rental platform: am and pm were interchanged. Time before noon was shortened to pm and am was afternoon. Otherwise I had good experiences with Easyrentcars.com
Ecovia customer service from start to finish was great, they really do accommodate! Car was great, and was very easy returning. Friendly service, would definitely recommend.

Il n’y avait pas de clio disponible, on m’a proposé une panda 4x4 que j’ai refusé. On m’a alors proposé une clio zen moyennant 100 € de plus, c’est inadmissible. Je ne repasserais jamais plus par cette compagnie.

Car in terrible condition. Every panel damaged. Bumpers falling off. Engine light keep coming on. So cost me money to leave parked up and just got trains and bus. Ordered a full size offered a clio, then punto then had to settle for astra. Now after security deposit returned, I have a unauthorized €58 taking without permission and not even a email to explain. Will Never use firefly AGAIN
The pick-up process was more than 2 hour long: about 45 min waiting for shuttle bus, and 70-80 min waiting time at the car rental site. At the shuttle bus station there were about 40-50 people waiting and there was only about 10 sitting place the other 30-40 people standed on the sun. There wasn't any comment, info there if you can also walk to the car rental site as it was onl around 800 m distance. On the car rental site there wasn't any sitting place so we had to stand for more than 1 hour... The rental was only long time, the agent couldn't tell the exact amount of the deposit and she missed the my card expiration date and she asked me to call the bank because he didn't know why the bank didn't accept my card. The car was ok, the drop-off was ok.

The car I booked was much bigger than the one given. When I challenged staff they were not interested other than to want to charge me more for the bigger car!!!!! .......crazy and I will not use you again
When it was clearly mentioned on voucher nothing to be paid still they charge 200+ € as a deposit, on top of it they withdrew 750 odd € from my credit card and not Send any email or details what for it has been charged till now I.e till 48!hours , when I checked the car it has scratches all the sides , I made a note of it and I have written in inspection report, when I inquired at the drop off time budget guy said all ok and in little time my credit card was charged. So I have called your company

Asked for pick inside airport, not to walk with heavy cases for a mile, to be picked up by a shuttle bus eventually, very confusing after you booked to pick up inside terminal, also shuttle bus service confusing, even after phoning them, didn't know if I was at the Wright place or being scammed, even during the hand over
The email confirmation stated pick up was in terminal however this wasnt the case. I actually paid more for this privilege so i was disappointed to find that I had to get a shuttle bus to the pick up. Overall we had to wait a long time to get the car.
Although the scores reflect positively on Firefly, they are very misguiding to my experience with them. We had a situation where the valet service we used to park the car had lost our key. No 24 hour line to call and no help offered. We were fortunate the valet staff went above and beyond to help getting us back to our hotel and carry on our plans the following morning by offering to be our 'taxi' until the key was returned which they chased up. Firefly offered no assistance at all nor showed any concern that a key to one of their vehicles was missing.

Picking up the car was a very unpleasant experience. After travelling for 15 hours and walking 15 minutes to the car rental facility with all of our luggage there was no order at the rental counter. There did not seem to be a line and everyone was crammed into the small space to rent cars. Took some time to find the kiosk to sign in to get a "number" but had to listen for our name to be called. Then it was high pressure to buy additional insurance which I did not want to buy. I had to argue with the woman at the counter to decline the insurance. It took more than an hour to get the car. Thankfully, drop off was quick and easy.

Booking said it was In-terminal collection - this wasn’t true! Rental pick up was off-site. Address given is different when put into google maps, so when on foot was a nightmare to find. Didn’t have the car I booked. Petrol wasn’t full. Got charged to wash the vehicle on drop off (no other provider does this). Wasn’t made clear enough that you had to call them on arrival (no other provider does this) to be collected. When given shuttle back to airport they didn’t even drop us at departures, was left on road about 1/2 mile away.
All round poor experience and won’t use again or recommend
