I waited for 2 hours in a line up and they proceeded to charge me 200 Euros for being 2 hours late for a pick up. I had already paid for the entire day and they still charged me. This happened to a lot of people in the line. Everyone was very upset. This company offers cheap prices online but steals and lies to you when you're at the counter. EasyRentCars is a great website however dealing with Goldcar will tarnish your reputation. Goldcar is the worst company and customer service I have every dealt with in over 35 years of travel.
The car I received was not what was ordered, was much smaller. The location was also near impossible to find and the service was nothing short of appalling.

We landed at NCE T1 and the pick-up was at T2. If I had known I would have possibly booked another rental to avoid the bus transfer (10mins) with my family and the large amount of luggage we had. Once at T2 there was no problems and the pick-up was smooth and easy. Staff were polite and efficient.
When booking the car on the website it stated the car was sufficient for 7 passengers and 4 luggage - this was sadly not the case - it could fit 2 suitcases only passengers all had the other suitcases and hand luggage all over them which was far from ideal especially with 2 special needs children and that was with an upgrade to a ford galaxy

Max sped us through the process from the welcome desk to showing us the car. HE PRE-EMPTED ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD AND MADE THE WHOLE PROCESS SEAMLESS. Particularly liked the way he showed us the size measuring card for bumps and dents that would count or not, and also appreciated the lack of hard sell trying to make us upgrade. A terrific experience!

Very clear interface on Easyrentcars, enabling a quick booking process.
It would have been helpful to have been shown the controls; the car interface has a lot of automatic functionality so mostly it was okay but there are also a lot of stalks on the steering column. I accidentally switched on the speed limiter once at a very low speed and it took me a few tries to work out the screen wash function. Other than that everything was perfect.

Nous avons attendu presque 2 heures pour récupérer notre véhicule, avec 2 enfants et étant prétendument en file "prioritaire". Aucune vérification du véhicule effectuée par EuropCar lors de sa récupération. On nous a proposé une upgrade vers un véhicule "offre spéciale super interessante": plus de 2 fois plus cher pour avoir un véhicule de catégorie supérieure: scandaleux !

Unexplained €60 fee on drop off. No explanation just "thank you all done" and handed a receipt. Did not notice the charge until I later checked.

Such a horrible process of retrieving our car. Had to take a shuttle from one terminal to the other with all of our bags because the counter at one terminal was closed. Then a lot of confusion and business in the car rental building. Hard to find the office once we went through the chaos of competing paper work. The garage was so small. It took forever. Just a horrible experience
Waited way too long to get the car which in a digital age is ridiculous. Things like driving licence etc can surely be scanned and sent in advance.
No chance to review car condition. No one came with us to the car to check condition or to confirm where any existing knocks or scrapes. The result is them claiming an existing scrape was cause by me when we had absolutely no problems with the car. Furious. I have fully comp but that isn’t the point.
La voiture était parfaite concernant son état et ses options, cependant ce n'était pas un van comme demandé, mais un monoplace avec 7 places. Nous avons adapté les bagages en conséquence, mais il manquait un peu de coffre.
The car was damaged with a front broken light and damage all way round. Our departure was delayed due to bringing a member of staff up to the car park to report damage.
