“Smooth transaction but better customer service required”

Very easy transaction and the car was good. I must point out one aspect of customer service which was under par. After my returning my car I was instructed to enter the Ford people carrier. A couple got in the very back seats but we had difficulty in unfolding the seat for me. The driver just stayed in his driving seat unwilling to help. Eventually he got out and assisted. He then got back into his seat without closing my sliding door, which I had trouble closing. I eventually managed to close this. I think this driver needs some customer service training!
Unprofessional location which resembled a garden shed in an allotment. Makeshift parking area. Really bad first inpressions which put me on high alert as if it were a scam. I assume a very poor franchisee.

Tried to discuss issues but they just were not interested! Only after I lodged negative feedback did they want to discuss - sorry - too late! Never will use again!!!!
staff were really excellent and the process smooth. The pick up was about 8 minutes walk form airport - and was told shuttle would take 15-20 mins to arrive so maybe not so good if mobility problems

On returning the car I stopped in Farrington to top up fuel when car wouldn’t start. Due to the car running out of Adblu I wasn’t able to start car. I called office which then was asjed to buy and topup Adblu. On doing this the car still didn’t start so RAC had to be called. This cause a lot of stress as I had a 6 mth, 4 year & 6 year old and a flight that day. This is something that should of been checked before hiring a vehicle.
When picking up the car the woman marking the damage was totally obnoxious as was the driver who picked us up at the airport. The young chap behind the counter started off okay but when getting into discussions with the damage marking lady he became slightly rude and wouldn't listen. On returning the car what a totally different experience the 2 guys checking in the car and young man behind the counter so much better. Pity the others couldn't learn from them
Like: The company computer system crashed while doing the pickup paperwork. Staff were very apologetic and included a GPS for free as a compensation for having to wait. Dislike: Office is a bit dingy and lacks any sort of customer comfort.
