I have rented cars from Avis multiple times and am generally satisfied.

There were long lines to pick up the car in the morning, but renting in Waikiki with same-day pickup and drop-off can save on parking fees.

Simple procedure

Initially rented a Chevrolet Suburban, a large vehicle. Upon arrival, we were given a GMC, but the tires were leaking. Since it was a Sunday, we couldn't replace the car immediately. We went back to the store the next morning and were directed to the airport as there were no same-class vehicles available. The process was smooth, and we successfully switched to a Chevrolet Suburban. The ride to Las Vegas was great, and both the car exchange and return were quick and smooth.
