After you have collected your luggage and once in the arrivals hall come out of the terminal building and turn left. Continue walking for approximately 200 metres (you will see the public bus parking zone and the Monorail to your right). Keep on the path parallel to the Monorail, then continue walking underneath the Monorail for approximately 100 metres and you will see the ‘Merci cargo’ building on your left. Here you can wait for the Centauro Rent a Car Shuttle which comes every 10-15 mins.

The pickup point n Bologna airport was difficult to locate. The staff at the pickup desk disputed that my booking included the one-way fee even though the contract clearly stated it did. They tried to charge me an additional one-way fee. This held up the booking by 30 mins.

This rental ended up costing more than USD$900 with no clear explanation. This is outrageous and I have received no assistance whatsoever from multiple employees at your offices in Bologna Airport and Milan Malpensa Airport. The amount far exceeds our agreed contracted to price without any justification.

What a TERRIBLE experience. I waited with dozens of other people for 90 minutes!!! Totally unacceptable. And the manager was clearly uninterested in the situation. We didn’t get the car we rented but I just couldn’t wait any longer. I will not rent from Budget again.

Car was good - this option we got a Fiat 500. Definitely only suitable for a couple with bags. Not large enough for a family. However, Europcar did not walk us round the car on arrival and charged us for damage under the car which may (or likely may not) have been caused by us! be sure to check under the bumper even with a respectable company like Europcar!!

All is great, except for the waiting time on the car pick-up. Without any exaggeration, I landed at 14:05, spent a lot of time at the passport control(my mistake), found the sicily by car counter at 15:25 and picked up the car at 17:50 so 2 hours and 25 min - this is really unacceptable.

The car wasn’t clean fron the outside and Inhad to wait for about an hour to pickup the car as there was only 1 representative serving Avis, Budget and 1 additional rental company + they kept advising on getting additional insurance on top of the one purchased from EasyRentCars claiming that there would be lots of hassle and admin fees in case anything happened.

The member of staff I dealt with was rude and pushy. She tried to sell me an additional insurance when I had already purchased a similar one through the Easyrentcars website. She implied that the insurance I had purchased was unlikely to pay out, in case of an accident. Only at the end she explained that what she was offering was optional. Moreover nobody came out to check the car with me and I was left to find the car by myself. They were instead very thorough in checking the car on my return. I won't use this car rental company again

Booking, car, drop off all very good. Staff at Maggiore counter trying hard but understaffed, failing systems and lost paper work resulted in a wait of nearly an hour before we got the keys. Then they were clearly under instruction to sell insurance extras, which annoyed customers and caused even longer delays.

The car was not a jeep compass enten thugh there was several at the Pick up spot. There was 5-6 damages, the first staff member had a lot of pictures of the damages. And when I returner the car, they wanted we to pay for One of those damages.....only because I had several pictures of the car from the Pick up date, I managed to get through the drop off circus!!

Booked a 7 seater because we are a big family 2 adults 4 children. On arrival I was informed that a 7 seater was not available. Largest vehicle they had was an estate. They advised booking another vehicle however only one adult can drive. Fortunately we were with friends so we were able to do some shuffling about.
