Payment was inconvenient after switching cars, but everything else was great

We were a group of 6, with 6 carry-on suitcases and 6 backpacks. We originally booked a mid-large size MPV, but they gave us a 'compact' MPV instead, which clearly did not match the product description. I recall that the price for the given vehicle was cheaper when we initially booked. So, the 6 of us were squeezed together.

Excellent service from the rental company

Waited nearly half an hour to pick up the car and over half an hour to return it. The return location was unclear, so I asked the staff and they told me to park outside. I ended up parking at the entrance and they didn't say anything. I rented a Ford Focus but was given a Mazda 3; not sure if they are in the same group. If anyone knows, please let me know. The car had scratches and other damage when I picked it up, but they said it was fine and just to take pictures. The car was fairly new, but there were constant warnings about issues like the passenger airbag and front radar malfunctioning. I called the rental company about it, and they told me to handle it myself. After insisting, they finally helped. I drove to Akureyri where they had a branch to get the car checked, and it was confirmed that it was safe to continue driving, but overall it was not very reassuring.

Good service. Even though we arrived late and our order was canceled, Thrifty still rented us a car. However, poor rating for QEEQ's customer service as they didn't help us resolve the issue and just said it was canceled because we were late. Poor service.

Booking worked perfectly! All of my questions were answered.

The car rental company is fine. However, as a ten-year user of QEEQ, I am not very satisfied this time. First, the order stated that the price included an additional driver, but upon arrival the rental company repeatedly confirmed that an additional driver would require extra payment. My English is very good, so there was no communication issue. I tried calling QEEQ but the line was busy, and their online customer service had a queue, so I had no choice but to pay extra for the additional driver. Now, in the after-sales stage, more than a week has passed and QEEQ's response is 'waiting for the rental company to confirm.' The rental company clearly states that additional drivers are not included, but QEEQ's order says otherwise. My payment record shows I paid extra for it. Why can't they just compensate me immediately? I think QEEQ should first cover the difference and then communicate with the rental company. After all, I rented through your platform and signed an agreement with you. If I have an issue, I come to you. You can't just pass the message and not take responsibility. Otherwise, what's the point of your service? Second, I purchased full coverage insurance, and the windshield got broken. 1. I had to pay upfront, which is fine, but some banks charge a currency conversion fee because Icelandic Krona is a minor currency. 2. The compensation amount can fluctuate due to the exchange rate difference between the day you pay and the day you get reimbursed. 3. You need the car inspection report for the claim, which takes time, and catching a flight back home is crucial. 4. It's been over a week since I submitted the claim, and there's been no update. If I had bought insurance directly from the rental company, I could just return the keys and leave if the windshield broke. None of these issues (time cost, currency conversion fee, exchange rate cost, claim communication cost) would occur. I do not see any proactive communication or action from QEEQ on these points, only 'waiting.' My review is factual, and others can judge for themselves.

The car was brand new with just few hundred kilometers on the odometer. All details were duly informed. No hassle either at the time of pick up or drop off. A paid cab was also arranged post the drop off.

Always recommended and preferred choice

Quite satisfied, good value for money. Although pick-up and drop-off are a bit more troublesome, it’s much cheaper than renting a car at the airport.

No problem if you don't speak English; the staff are patient and use Google Translate to communicate. Car pickup is conveniently right at the entrance.

Smooth handover

The store's service was excellent, and the car was very new.

レンタカー会社の詳細情報（会社名、住所、営業時間外の返却方法、送迎の有無など）を記載すべきだと思います。

The service is good. I'm not sure how the insurance is at other rental companies. This shop at Iceland airport doesn't have separate gravel insurance. You'll need to buy full insurance.

The waiting time to pick up the car was a bit long.
