return was smooth and enjoyable. The pick up whole process is horrible and full of inconvenience. The Goldcar doesn't accept amexrican express. When charge the debit car 1400 euro for deposit, they just do the conversion and make it 1260 Pounds themself . then when they later return deposit, they then return 1400 euro which converted automatically to 1200 pounds like market rate. So we just loss 60 pounds for nothing by the Goldcar customer named Hugo service person incompetence work.

your pick up instruction was clearly wrongly written in the voucher as there is not shuttle bus from Goldcar to pick us up. We simply need to go to the Goldcar stand ourselves. Finding Goldcar stand is not difficult if not mislead by the Qeeq Voucher

La première voiture cherchée avait le turbo HS, résultat après 20km j'ai eu du mal à revenir à l'agence pour échanger la voiture ! (Elle se mettait en défaut toutes les 2 minutes de roulage). Heureusement la seconde n'avait pas de soucis. Plutôt que de réaliser une préautorisation, ils prélèvent le montant de la garantie, c'est donc une enveloppe de 1500€ qui est débitée et non simplement bloquée, le temps de la location, une manière déguisée de faire gonfler le chiffre d'affaire de l'agence, mais pas très sympathique pour le client. Au moins on est prévenu lorsqu'on récupère le véhicule.

¡Horrible! Había alquilado un coche por unos 60€ por un día y cuando llegué a la oficina me hicieron pagar otros 61€ porque decían que mi tarjeta no funcionaba para el depósito del coche (que eran como 1500€) cuando sí que funcionaba, cosa que comprobé en el banco y SI que funcionaba aunque el personal de la oficina de Goldcar me dijo que no por lo que tuve que pagar por el seguro a todo riesgo cuando yo no quería ese seguro. Me gustaría además saber donde puedo presentar una queja por ello.

“Very appealing price on easy rent, turns out very expensive with cover”

Staff very polite and smiley but it was too much. I thought the lady was genuinely super nice and offered to upgrade the car as I was getting married this holiday but what she was offering actually had a price! I declined politely. I was also very surprised to see how expensive the full cover was. I thought I had a good deal when initially booking with goldcar but turns out it is as expensive as others suppliers.
