Like: We picked up this little subcompact car for under $30/day plus tax by surfing the price down over time. The car only had 14,000 miles on it and was in pretty good shape. Just right for the island. We mostly used it to zip around. The check-in was efficient and the check out was speedy. Dislike: Two things stand out. First, the rental lot is off-airport and the shuttle van is not as consistent as the bigger named rentals. I ended up taking an Uber, but should have waited. The car was small, but that is what I signed up for.
Like: I liked the quick friendly service once I got to the counter to pick-up my van. Been to Hawaii many times, there is always a long line to pick-up your car. The van was perfect, exactly what I needed. The price was by far the best I had seen anywhere else. When we dropped off the van they helped us quickly and had a shuttle waiting to take us to the airport. Dislike: it would be great if there was a line exclusively for people who have ordered and prepaid for a car/van, even on weekends.
