Very easy transaction and the car was good. I must point out one aspect of customer service which was under par. After my returning my car I was instructed to enter the Ford people carrier. A couple got in the very back seats but we had difficulty in unfolding the seat for me. The driver just stayed in his driving seat unwilling to help. Eventually he got out and assisted. He then got back into his seat without closing my sliding door, which I had trouble closing. I eventually managed to close this. I think this driver needs some customer service training!

Unprofessional location which resembled a garden shed in an allotment. Makeshift parking area. Really bad first inpressions which put me on high alert as if it were a scam. I assume a very poor franchisee.

It seemed a bigger, better car than I expected. Excellent value, especially as it was a one-way rental. The pick up agent didn't try to upsell me on anything, which was refreshingly unusual.

Got given a Skoda Octavia which was OK. The counter staff however, were brusque to the point of being rude, we got told off like school children for a small amount of dirt on the floor carpets. Also, this branch of Budget charged us £100 for an additional driver when another Budget branch in Bristol did not charge my brother in law any extra fee for an additional driver for his rental for this same trip. Overall, I will not book with this branch of Budget again.

Car was great and the guy was very nice. Unfortunately, as I do not own a credit card, I incurred an additional 30quid per day charge in order to facilitate holding the deposit on my debit card. There are 'good' reasons for this I understand, and I appreciate that it is not really the fault of GM themselves, but why people who choose not use credit should be punished seems backwards and controversial! Needless to say the unexpected additional expense is pretty annoying. I have not had this issue with the bigger companies and so, sadly, guess it means I will stick to those in future, when I'd much rather support a smaller business. Shame, the car and service were otherwise exemplary.

I was upgraded to a medium-sized car because the car I'd booked needed extra cleaning. They were great about explaining the car's controls and how to return the car out of hours. No pressure to pay for extra insurance or anything like that either.

The car was perfect, the only real gripe I would have was, we returned the car early in the morning. We drove to the drop off, but there was no personnel at that time in the morning. But not having returned a car at Bristol at that time, we had no idea that we just drop the key in the box. But there was no instruction to that effect on the rental agreement or on the Europcar booth. Other than that it was all very good

Attempts were made to upsell me to a car I clearly didn't need: "Since there's 2 of you a bigger car might be better" What?! It was a fairly aggressive upsell and along with the usual insurance nonsense, showed disdain for the customer

Alamo office at Bristol airport a little bit of a treck and not the easiest to find. Friendly and helpful member of staff who guided me over the phone to the Alamo office. Hire car sign not well signed on entry to East Mids Airport, very small print on sign indicating left at first roundabout. Bigger sign/ print would help.

Office not open in the morning as promised. So had to leave the keys. Then returned to Afghanistan to find they had charged me 400 for damage to tyres and cleaning the car!!! Absolute rip off. I was warned by others when I told them who I rented the car from and they were correct. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this company. Green motion - not even the company I was expected to be renting from as no mention ANYEHERE of this.

The counter staff were helpful and friendly, however the driver who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport had no customer service at all. He did not greet us or converse with us. Also I noted when waiting at pickup at airport and on return to pickup point that he did not assist any customers when removing their luggage from the back of the vehicle. One customer had a mobility scooter and had to remove it on his own as the driver did not attempt to help. Due to this reason I would not recommend the Green motion company for car hire.

Car was in the same class as booked, clean inside a little less so on the outside but still acceptable. Shuttle transfer service was efficient, Counter service staff were also polite and efficient (a technical printer problem added 5 minutes to what would otherwise have been a sub-10 minute collection. Drop off was super efficient as was return shuttle to terminal (a 3 minute ride). Overall, exceeded my expectation and was excellent value for money. Would recommend.

Car was great. Limited milage could have had some options. Something to confirm how many ltrs the petrol tank can take, would be helpful, to be able to fill to say 50%.
