Right Cars is a scam. They force you to buy their unnecessary "insurance." Choose a diff company.

I’m local and showed my own insurance information but the clerk charged me for insurance. I brought my own Sunpass transponder but the clerk charged me $5 daily for “activation fees”. The shuttle took almost 40 minutes to pick us up from the airport. The rental car office facility is literally a shak at a repair shop.

We should have been told about the need to purchase the SunPass and the fact that it was an outrageous $13/day when most tolls were under $1.50

Canadians BEWARE they will not accept your proof of insurance and force you to get coverage with them. Also they will not accept that you use your own SUNPASS on their cars!!! I was renting a car for three weeks imagine the overcharge. Instead I cancelled my rental and lost my deposit.

When i booked the car rental, it said 24 hrs a day. Once confirmed , we found out agency closed at 9 P M. Our flt was late, hubby ran to get car, 5 minutes before front door locked.

It's a scam. The price seemed good, and they said they require proof of insurance. I brought the proof when I went to get the car, but at the counter they said I needed a half a million worth of coverage (I'm not even kidding) and that I would need to buy their insurance, which was much more than the car rate itself. Of course I turned it down, and will never go again.
