車を借りる際、台湾人のスタッフが対応しましたが、ずっと保険を勧めてきました。すでにフルカバーの保険に入っていると強調し、その証明書を見せてようやく納得してくれました。しかし、その台湾人は借金を返していないかのような態度で、「車に何か問題があれば全て自己責任だ」と一言。それがまるで文句を言っているように感じられました。一方、車を返却したときは韓国人のスタッフが対応してくれて、非常に親切でした。夜の8時近く真っ暗な時間帯でも親切に対応してくれ、さらにミニバスで空港まで送ってくれました。No Birdの車は全体的にコスパが良く、11日間で4000ドル程度でした。道中でも時々No Birdの車を見かけました。ただ、大手レンタカー会社のように空港を出てすぐに返却場所があるわけではなく、高架橋の下にある場所まで自力で行く必要がありました。総じて悪くない体験でした。注意点として、空港近くで車を返却する際にガソリンを入れる場所がシドニー南部で、私たちが給油した際には多数の暴走族がいることに気付いたので、安全面に注意が必要です。北部のほうが安全だと思われます。
