Car was upgraded after forcing me to take extra liability insurance. My personal travel insurance and credit cards already had me covered but I was told that they would not release the vehicle without the extra. I have rented cars in the US very often and have never taken extra insurance but with a 92 year old mom and 3 year old grandchild waiting to get a vacation started,I just gave in to this scam. Unfortunately on our last day at Disney we were caught in a thunder storm, waited for 1/2 an hour for it to pass but were told that the trams would not be in operation for a while so we had to scramble to the car. In checkout the seats were damp so I was charged 150.00$ for clean up. Not a good experience with ACE.

Ace, in my opinion, is misleading customers about tolls. We spent 140.00 for a program that we would otherwise have spent $1.50 for each of two tolls by paying cash. We were told you couldn't pay cash and going without their coverage would have cost $50.00 per toll in penalties because the toll booths were unmanned. This wasn't true.There were collectors at each toll booth. Going to the Attorney General with this.

Van front tires warned out, low tire pressure and engine Oil light came on .

They did not reverse charges and said it was 9.99 a day They lied to my husband when signed up as he would never pay that much a day We only used toll road x 3. Only 1.50 if paid out of pocket Will never use them again as they lied and scammed us and refused to give out money back

Was told there were no cars available by pick-up shuttle and that I have to rent from someone else. Fortunately I told the fleet amanager I had a minivan and he said there may be one coming in the next hour or so if I want to wait. Then i minivan came behind us and he said I could have that one as soon as it was cleaned. Then the minivan wasn't completely full of gas, so I had to find someone to tell, and instead of filling they just made a note of it so I didn't need to bring it back full. Otherwise everything went well ... the minivan was fine, and clean. Price was good. I would rate Ace a 1/10 because of this ... it was quite a shock to be told there were no vehicles to rent and handed a written apology from the company. It seems ACE should have helped me get a car from someone else, and or t lucky that I mentioned I had a minivan and that one came in. In the end everything worked out ... but only because I pushed.
