Had to wait nearly a hour even though there was only 3 people in front in the queue. The whole process it way too long and the counter staff where so slow.

The car was great, just finding out where to pick it up from was frustrating. You should have told me to collect from Budget. Had a long queue once I found out.

I appreciate it sits within the ECONOMY category but the Renault Qwid is just a terrible car! I would expect this to be sitting in the lower MINI category.
The only problem I faced was when I needed to use the windshield wipers and fluid to clean my windshield after being spattered with mud on the highway, I found the fluid to be completely empty. This is quite dangerous; I had to pull over at that point. This is the second time this has happened to me, which is upsetting.
Like: Upon arrival I walked into the Hertz section of the car rentals and I got helped immediatly. Friendly agent.
Very helpful person at the car itself. Gave me the tip to photograph all dents and scratches and also advised me to put my luggage + my handbag in the boot to avoid any trouble at the robots. Dislike: The boot of the car had been smashed by a previous user. The lock of the 5th door didn't function properly.
Fortunately my journey was short and I didn't have to stop at many robots because the door had opened and all my luggage + my handbag were exposed and for grabs. This car shouldn't have been rented out without fixing it.
Everything was good, except the condition of the car. The side mirror adjustment switch fell off as soon as we tried to used it and the shocks absorber make loud noise the whole trip.
After i left the airport i saw the petrol tank was just below the FULL mark.
I only did 74km but when I filled petrol, it took 12.022 litres with a total of R161.34
I brought this up with the person at the drop off point and also showed him my receipt.
He promised to adjust and request a refund.

Like: We had to wait for more than an hour as the system was down when we got to the shop. However, the staff did try to expedite the process by getting others in the line to fill up the forms first. When we weren't satisfied with the car, the staff also patiently showed us a few more & provided alternatives. Although the process was a little frustrating, the service of the staff made it up for that :)
Car return was also easy & hassle free! Dislike: We had booked the car in advance & it would be great to have another queue where customers who have made prior booking can head straight to sign & collect the car (instead of waiting in line with those who didnt do prior booking & needed more time).
The model (or similar ones) we booked for weren't available. Though the staff was kind to offer a better model, our luggages still couldn't fit (without revealing our luggages) & we had to return he following day for a swop. Could have save us the hassle & time.
