    Like: I was very satisfied with the price I received. For the vehicle I rented. I was a bit confused at first, on where to be for the pick up. This is an off airport site, location. It was a lot easier then I anticipated. I needed the car for a few extra hours and the added fee was fair, in my opinion. I will be back in July and i will use them again.

    I waited a really long time to get my car. They need an actual document showing your insurance. Visa and MasterCard are not enough. This really needs to change as it bogs down the whole exchange. Most of their customers are Chinese tourists who are accustomed to providing that but the company hasn’t yet understood how things are done in America.

    The car had some scratches and dents, but otherwise it was fine. Picking up my vehicle was smoothe. Dropping off, had a bit of a wait to get to the airport. First said it would be 5 minutes. I waited at least 5 minutes, then said it would be an additional 10 minutes. When I indicated I really needed to make my flight, then then took me to the airport. Other than that I think Yesaway is great, better than any Car Rental I have ever experienced. Prices are quite reasonable and hoping them keep them that way. Would like to see a little more customer service available at the counter when walking in. Overall the place seems empty, but the upside is that there isn't a huge crowd to compete with time wise. Overall I would give Yesaway a 9.8. I am very happy with them and would like to make this my Car Rental of Choice.     I have insurance with the credit card which is issued from Austria - so I couldn't get any document due to time difference to Los Angeles. In the 10 years, I have the card it's the first time that a car rental wanted proof. I paid insurance with easy rent cars, my credit card and at the rental company. I was the best-insured looser paying everybody. If you check the google maps reviews you will find out I wasn't the only one falling for this scheme. I guess It falls back to you when I have a voucher where stands I don't have to pay anything at the desk.

    The overall experience was very positive. The good: Once I got to the rental place, the process for pickup and drop off was very smooth and easy and quick. I did not purchase insurance and the rep was not pushy at all to try to get me to purchase it. They just required me to provide proof of my own insurance. Car was very clean and in good condition and they provided a phone holder for Usong your own phone as a GPS and an umbrella. Could use improvement: Started off a bit frustrating because I didn’t notice the pickup instructions which were fairly low on the confirmation email. When I called in, the phone rep was friendly and helpful, but a bit difficult to understand due to his accent. The shuttle situation was a bit awkward as I had to take an airport shuttle to a train station to get picked up there by the YESAWAY shuttle and there is no specific pickup location at the train station so the driver seemed to have a bit of a hard time finding me.

    We received larger vehicle from lot. Vehicle in poor condition. Brakes rattled, car quickly overheated driving in traffic, car felt as though it was not safe and needed to be serviced badly. When I contacted YESAWAY, they were unable to accommodate us unless we drove the 2.5 hour back to LA. Discussion about what was wrong with the car resulted in customer service agent stating that if something was wrong with the car, it was our fault since we drove it off the lot. Very disappointed in overall quality and service.

    the first day they gave us a Ford focus, through the streets of Hollywood on the rise the car began to warn of transmission heating, which was worrying and happened 2 times, cancel an attraction for the Hollywood observatory for that problem, we lost 4 hours in going to return the car and claim for another, happily this problem happened in the city and not outside it because it would have been a bigger problem!

    Car definitely exceeded expectation. Very nice! Great price! Employees very nice and friendly. Only thing is the so called shuttle service. It’s a city bus that only stops/picks up at certain terminals and hard to find. I ended up taking a cab for $20 so not too bad. They paid for an Uber back to airport when I dropped off car. So they are really nice just wasn’t aware of how shuttle service worked. I will definitely rent from them again.

    The confirmation stated that there was a parking shuttle. I called Yesaway and was instructed to take green bus to shuttle. Once we got there we were stranded. Called several times and took awhile to get an answer on how to get there (language barrier). Finally was told to take Uber or taxi. Family waited on side of road while I got car. Process took almost an hour. When returning vehicle, Was told to call when almost there so Uber could be ordered, which I did. They said they’d order it when we got there. Arrived 10 min later and doors were locked. Waited 10 min outside. Returned vehicle and Uber was ordered but only held 3 of 5 in our party. They ordered another which got lost and the last two in our party arrived 45 min later and we almost missed our flight. We arrived to return the car 1 hr 45 min before flight and this shouldn’t have happened.

    The staff at the rental store exhibited completely different attitudes with and without surveillance. From the airport pickup to the store, their attitude was very good, humble, and the explanations were clear. I assume there were cameras in the shuttle and store. However, once all the paperwork was completed, they took us to the parking lot and handed us the keys, casually said a few words, and left. They didn't give us any time to inspect the car or provide a simple briefing (they mentioned during the rental process that there would be a briefing). We noticed a scratch on the right front door and had to walk back to the store to find the staff. He then told us that the insurance we purchased was very comprehensive, and we could have any damages covered, then he left. After getting into the car, we found that the USB port was not charging, so we had to go back to the store again. The overall experience was very poor.

    When I arrived at the store for check-in, there was a gentleman ahead of me by two or three steps. Naturally, I lined up behind him to wait for check-in. While waiting, an American arrived, and a slightly chubby female staff member approached and told me that the gentleman behind me had an earlier booking time and should be served first. I disagreed. Everyone should follow the queue to pick up the car; why disrupt the orderly queue? When I didn't agree, the female staff member told me to wait behind the current customer and that a male staff member would assist me afterward. She then called the American customer behind me and offered to help him personally, which made me feel very uncomfortable! My reservation time had already passed, yet I was still waiting patiently. Why should an American customer be allowed to cut the line? Is it because I look Chinese? Isn't this discrimination? The female staff member, who also looked Chinese, was unnecessarily nice to the American while showing a poor attitude toward me, a fellow Chinese. By belittling her compatriot, she was also demeaning herself. Having an American identity doesn't change the fact that her blood and appearance are inherently Chinese. The service was very poor! However, I must commend the male staff member who helped me; he was very friendly. The two stars are for him alone. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't even give one star because of that female staff member.

However, sometimes there was no staff present, and we had to call them out. - On the last day, they drove us to the airport, and although we waited about half an hour, a staff member later apologized and explained that the shuttle had to refuel, which took some time. The label for 'or similar models' was very unclear, and we only noticed it at the store when an employee pointed it out. Also, the insurance details were only explained in-store, indicating that insurance must be handled through the car rental platform. In summary, many details were vaguely described during the booking process, and full explanations were given only when picking up the car.

    Everything else was great, with large vehicles for pick-up and drop-off, and the service was excellent! However, when we returned the car, we discovered that our child's safety seat had not been secured for the entire duration. When we picked up the car, they said they would install the safety seat for us, so we assumed it was done. But during the return, we realized it was just placed on the seat without being secured. We didn't double-check, but luckily the trip was safe.

    I previously used Yesaway and had a great impression, but this experience ruined it all. I won't choose this company again. On our last night, we stayed at the Hilton Hotel, which is on the way from the rental company to the airport. We informed the staff in advance, but they refused to stop. Later, we told the driver, and they still didn't stop, with a terrible attitude. There were only two of us in the car and no one else. Plus, I am a pregnant woman. We had to carry a lot of luggage to the airport and then wait for the hotel's shuttle.
