Overall a good experience! Austria is really suitable for self-driving! Rented a car in Salzburg, visited Innsbruck and the lake district, and returned the car in Vienna! Picked up the car at Salzburg airport around 4 PM, no queues, I was the only one! Got the car in 20 minutes! No upselling of insurance or roadside assistance, no gimmicks! They just handed me the keys, and I went to the parking lot via the elevator next to the counter to get the car myself! The car had a full tank! No one accompanied me to check the car! I inspected it, found no issues, and drove off!
