You can walk to the counter of Alamo - Auckland International Airport car rental.

Auckland Airport International Terminal Arrivals: 1. Once you clear customs and exit into the arrivals area. 2. Make your way-out to Door 8, cross the pedestrian crossing and follow the ‘Car Rentals’ sign to the Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Alamo, and National Car rental office in the AKL Airport Transport Hub. Domestic Terminal Arrivals: 1. After retrieving your luggage, exit through Door Number 4, located adjacent to the food court. 2. Cross the domestic terminal forecourt to reach the multi-level carpark building directly opposite. 3. Once inside the carpark, descend to the ground floor. 4. Look for Enterprise, Alamo, and National Car Rental office, which you'll find situated on the far left side of the building. If at any point you have trouble locating us, please don't hesitate to call +64 9 870 3330 for assistance.

Ferry crossings are allowed. Cross-border travel must be declared to the branch 3+ days in advance; unauthorized travel breaches the contract and incurs penalties. Travel to restricted NZ areas (e.g., Ball Hutt Rd, Skippers Rd, Ninety Mile Beach, Te Paki Stream Bed, Macetown Rd, coast road to Russell, or unformed/gravel roads) voids cover and increases liability.

    The car exceeded my expectations. Very very good. The Alamo pickup counter guy was also pretty damn helpful. The only Major Issue I had was a lack of proper Exact directions on WhatsApp or Google Maps for the Pickup and Drop off location of the car parking spot (exact), as it was very difficult to carry our luggage here and there whilst picking up because we could not easily find the car due to some confusion. But great service in every other aspect. Wonderful. Keep it up! :-)
