You can walk to the counter of Alamo - Perth International Airport car hire.

Terminal 1 International Upon arriving at Terminal 1 International, exit the terminal building and walk straight across the pedestrian crossing to the adjacent carpark. Follow the signs to the car rental offices until you see our car rental building. Our staff will complete your rental paperwork and show you to your car onsite. Terminal 1 Domestic Upon arriving at Terminal 1 Domestic, exit the building, and immediately turn left, walking parallel to the terminal for about 100m. Follow the car rental collection signs, and cross the pedestrian crossing, continue to follow the signs. Our car rental office will be located in the car park on the right, opposite the international terminal arrival. Terminal 2 Upon arriving at Terminal 2, exit the building, and immediately turn left, following the signs to Terminal 1 International. Follow the car rental collection signs, and cross the pedestrian crossing adjacent terminal 1, continue to follow the signs. Our car rental office will be located in the car park on the right, opposite the international terminal arrival. Terminal 3 After arriving at Terminal 3, stay in the terminal and proceed towards terminal 4 baggage collection area. Our office is located opposite baggage claim 1 in terminal 4. Terminal 4 After collecting your luggage, proceed to our office opposite claim 1 in terminal 4.

Like: Driving in Australia has always been enjoyable and fun especially when you have good wheels.
Dislike: The insurance for zero access is kind of exorbitant. Almost the price of the car rental. If this can be reduced, it will be more attractive.

Dishonest business practice of Alamo by claiming extra fuel cost on return which they cannot verify and substantiate. The rental of a medium SUV (BMW X1) was downgraded to a compact economy hatchback (Audi A1) at the original booking charges. It was substituted without prior notice. The matter was not pursued at the time of pickup as I was running very late to attend a meeting @ 900am due to a 2.5 hours flight delay of arrival. I am reserving my right to dispute my credit card charges.

The woman at the check out counter was extremely nice and helpful. She provided valuable information and directions. The car did not have floor mats and the bottom carpet had a hole worn through. The return area at the Perth airport was very confusing and I saw several cars/drivers circling the airport. I also had to circle twice as the signage was poor.
