Like: Hertz gave me a better car than anticipated, fast and easy check-in so that getting the car took less than 10 minutes. Returning the car was incredibly fast because the Hertz Man was standing ready to receive my car in the driveway and within a minute checked-in my car and gave me my receipt. Very fast and efficient rental system! Thank you Hertz!

Dislike: Only had one bad experience.... I went to the Rainforest Cafe in Niagara Toronto. The meal tasted great, then upon leaving I left my bag with some goodies on my table... I returned after 5 mins to find my bag gone and no one knew where it was... The people who cleaned our table did not see the bag and they were literally cleaned as soon as we left... I left my number with the manager but no one ever called to say if they ever found the bag.....

Also I was unable to reach the Hertz local branch by calling their local line of the Toronto Airport. Also, the parking lot at the Toronto Island airport dropoff location had no access card, making it impossible to enter. During non-business hours, self-service returns were not available, causing significant delays in returning the car.

They mentioned that it wasn't necessary to return the car with a full tank because their fuel prices were lower than the market rate, and any difference would be charged based on the remaining fuel. However, I returned the car with half a tank, but was charged for a full tank.

Hertz is located at the very end of the car rental building, which requires quite a bit of walking. Since I arrived late, there were hardly any people in line at the regular counters. Therefore, there wasn't much difference in service between the regular counters and the Hertz Gold kiosk.

The car felt a bit old. I rented it for 27 days, and the dashboard indicated maintenance was needed. I went back to the rental company to request a car change, but the staff said to ignore it and drive as usual. Although there were no issues afterward, I was uneasy the whole time. Negative review! Additionally, I asked about extending the rental period during my visit, but the extension cost was much higher, and I would have to return to the store at the end of the period. I decided against it.

Could never reach international support by phone, only through internet calls to another country. Staff were polite but couldn't solve any problems, making them useless. Return address was wrong, and after calling, was given another wrong address. Wasted 2.5 hours in downtown Toronto traffic and eventually had to ask for directions on the street. The correct address was only two blocks away.
