The Alamo - Christchurch Airport car hire location is in terminal

Complimentary dedicated airport transfer between Christchurch Airport and Christchurch Branch. Make your way from domestic or international arrivals to the phone board in the international arrivals area. This is located behind the Christchurch Airport I-Site on the ground floor. You will see an Enterprise Rent-A-Car board with the instructions to dial 42 to arrange our courtesy shuttle. Alternatively call +643-358 6554 Please then make your way to the southern end of the domestic terminal to door 1 or door 2 and our branded shuttle will collect you from there. Our branch is 1 kilometre from our office so we will get you there in a few minutes.

Towards any New Zealand islands, taking rental cars crossing islands is allowed with certain conditions.

Ferry crossings are allowed. Cross-border travel must be declared to the branch 3+ days in advance; unauthorized travel breaches the contract and incurs penalties. Travel to restricted NZ areas (e.g., Ball Hutt Rd, Skippers Rd, Ninety Mile Beach, Te Paki Stream Bed, Macetown Rd, coast road to Russell, or unformed/gravel roads) voids cover and increases liability.

Ferry Transportation: Allowed
