Almost new car, clean. Space was bit lesser than expected. Pickup and drop was easy, fuel station at drop location making it easier to refuel while returning the car.

They tried to sell additional insurance on pickup. I didn’t take it because I had full cover from QEEQ.COM. Upon return nobody was there to check the car. I left the car in the same condition as I picked it up. Two days later my card was changed over 2800 CHF. I had to follow up to find out that it was due to damage I made (!). I took 4 weeks to get the damage report from Budget. Apparently there were some body marks I three places on the van.

Everything was great except for one thing which was very frustrating. When we picked up our car we requested a car seat. The only problem was that we didn’t know how to install a European car seat and no would help us. They said it’s their policy but isn’t it more of a liability to give a car seat for an infant and not give proper instructions to install in the case of an accident that infant can be hurt. It took us 1 hour to figure this out with little WiFi looking for a helpful video online which delayed our pick up by a lot.

I had a minor scratch of the rim of the front right tyre and is now waiting for the documents for claiming my full comprehensive insurance with eastrentcars. This is a bit tedious and Hertz is not very helpful.

Honestly,this is my first time booking through EasyRentCars and to my surprise it was excellent. At first I had a skeptical thoughts because as others said, book only from official website Europcar, Sixt, Hertz etc big company, cuz it will not give headache. Cuz Dollar is not very big names like others,but it is managed by Hertz so it was no problem at all. During collecting my car was great cuz the staff very friendly and helpful. She upgrade from my Ford Focus estate to Mazda CX5 with addition CHF10 per day..and ad hoc add in second driver for CHF50 only, I got the brand new car with only 8km milage..just a new born baby for me

I was told on pickup of the car I would not be able to use a Visa card for the deposit for the car. Only MasterCard was accepted unless I maxed out their insurance which was of no use for me and I was forced to as Visa was the only payment I have on my holiday. The staff directed me incorrectly to the car park to leave the airport with my 60kgs of luggage...... gigantic waste of time starting our trip in Switzerland. The Mazda CX-5 was the only good thing about the experience.

I called customer service to see if out of courtesy they can allow to return the car two hours later, and they declined saying that anything above 30 min would be a whole day charge. I suggest to introduce an hourly charge at the time of return. Wouldn't affect their vehicle turn around as they have huge inventory.It would build good will.

They didn't have the car we booked, but we got a slightly smaller one with free GPS and an extra driver. Also the return guy chased me down the street to give me my sunglasses back. So happy with our experience.
