Overall service is OK but the car.... The worst car ever!!! Many scratches, lack of one turning light, weared interior, smell of cigaretes, noises from air-con, vibration on steering wheel above 100 kmph, remote pilot not working, lack of rear deck/dash

Like: From the shuttle bus to the staff checking in/out the car, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was extremely efficient and we were in and out within 10 minutes or so.
Dislike: Rental is outside the terminal and it was hard to work out how to get back to the rental place to drop the car off - used Waze as GPS and it didn't take us to the correct place.

Very typical with the processes (the person that did the booking is also the main driver, the credit card needs to be @ the name of the driver). Also very careful with the instructions about Coronavirus. The car was in great condition and clean. Happily surprised with the company. We would definitely choose it again.

I was hoping to have a Honda Civic, but car was Suzuki Baleno. Of course it was said that it can be similar, but when you are expecting to have different looking car you might be a little disappointed. But we were happy at the end of our vacation. Car worked well and also AC worked well even it was very hot outside.

Great experience from start to finish. Friendly staff all over. It was very easy to extend the booking, over the phone. I highly recommend them. Also having a model guaranteed option is great since you avoid the “or similar” trap where you always get an inferior car than expected. Only slight issue was the wait at pick up because there was only one person at the counter and customer before us was taking his time as if he was all alone. Not europcar’s fault

1. Waiting for 45 minutes at the counter 2. Several warning lights were on (ABS, temperature, etc.). I was told that this is normal. 3. Fuel fraud. Paid for full tank and was told to get refund when returning the car. I then learned, only refund is provided if returned full. No partial refund, which was not explained to me.

The service staff was very friendly and helpful. However the car was in a terrible condition. More than 150.000 km, old and we also had to inflate the tires before returning.

Small car, small engine, terrible condition, broken key fob, only water in screenwash, wipers in terrible condition. Counter is not in the airport, no one waiting to pick us up, had to call them to collect us... guy was smoking a nasty cigar in the car too.. One kind of redemption is that we got lost on the way to drop off and the guy stayed opened for 40 minutes after closing time which was good but they did charge us €29 late drop off fee... so not really a redemption but at least they waited. Would not hire from this company again and wouldn't advise anyone else to.

There is only one guy who is doing the whole business, pickup from / drop off to the airport, paperwork, car cleaning. So our flight has delayed and we couldn't find anyone at the airport as this only guy was busy with taxiing another customer. No phone number. It was painful to find someone who know them and get a phone number and tell them we are waiting for them to pickup. Dropoff at 08:30, no one is at the office. This only guy forgot to open the office, so we almost missed the flight. But the car was OK

Counter is directly in the terminal and car is in the parking lot in the departure level, very easy, fast, and close by. The car had many scratches though, but wasn't a problem.

The budget counter is directly infront of the exit from the arrivals, it was empty and paper work took about 5 mins. The pick up was in the parking infront of departures floor and was very smooth and efficient. I got an upgrade eo a slightly bigger car even though i didn't need it for fuel efficiency sake.

No because was guaranteed Ford Focus and we got Kia Rio which is not same car level. Budget staff on check in was extremely rude and impolite. I mean staff who gave us key for car. In all my more then 20 years experiences have not so bad experience. On returning was completely opposite guy was very kind , professional, polite.

The car did not exceed expectations. I was expecting a Toyota Yaris or similar but on pickup was told I am getting a complimentary upgrade which turned out to be a Kia Rio. Not sure if thats an upgrade so not too impressed. Pick up and drop off very quick and efficient. Overall satisfied.

Car was good, matched description. Check in process a little tedious, but quick and easy to walk to pick up the car from the arrivals lounge. We were charged for a full tank of fuel which was unexpected, since we booked on a Full to Full policy. They weren’t very thorough when checking the car over before handing it to us, and we felt rushed when we wanted to have a look ourselves - fortunately we persevered as we pointed out some quite substantial knocks that’d been missed by the company on our contract.

Абсолютно непрозрачные условия. Забронировала машину якобы с полной защитой, заплатила заранее 130 евро за 8 дней. По факту - пришла на стойку за машиной потребовали еще столько же денег. Тоже 130 евро. За полную защиту. Дали старый и убитый Nissan March, пробег 90000 км, черный (само то на Кипре с маленьким ребенком, ага), в прокате судя по номерам уже 4 года. Разгонялась на трассе ужасно медленно, но не сломалась, слава богу. Жутко недовольна бронированием. 260 евро за 8 дней за такую старую и убитую машину - это очень много. Никогда больше не воспользуюсь услугами этой прокатной компании. Absolutely opaque conditions. Booked a car allegedly with full protection, paid in advance 130 euros for 8 days. In fact - she came to the rack behind the car demanded the same amount of money. Also 130 euros. For full protection. They gave the old and dead Nissan March, a mileage of 90,000 km, black (in Cyprus itself with a small child, yeah), judging by the numbers for 4 years. Accelerated on the track terribly slowly, but not broken, thank God. Terribly unhappy with booking. 260 euros for 8 days for such an old and dead car is a lot. Never again will I use the services of this rental company.

Alex was extremely thorough in explaining the rental details and insurance limitations relating to crossing into the occupied zone of Cyprus. At the time of vehicle handover Alex was again thorough in going over the vehicle identifying existing mark's and issues. The little Spark performed well on the roads around Cyprus and ended up being the most appropriate vehicle for my travels. I am more than happy with my dealings with Alex and Autounion and would be happy to recommend them as well as using their services on my next visit to Cyprus.

You have to make clear to customers that they need to update the car rental company with the last status for the arrival time. They are very kind and they will be waiting you in front of the arrivals. But they have to know the flight and the time

The counter staff was great, the person was not certain how to waive collition damage coverage and whether you offered third party liability. The wait times very reasonable, the only downside was that the cigarette lighter was not powering the telephone.

Unfortunately my experience with this company wasn't great. At Larnaca airport we couldn't fine a spot where someone should wait for us. Lady on the line was trying to be helpful and eventually we found each other. A bus from KEM car rental took as to the really.small office in the middle.of nowhere. Guys couldn't find us on the system and they were trying to charge us a £1250 deposit for a small car!! I have never paid more that £500. After saying this is a ridiculous request they reduced to £650 even knowing we have additional cover. They ask if we can take a Mazda Demio as there is no other car available... they were not prepared at all. Car was dirty inside, windows as well. Very poor condition of the car. I understand this was a cheap hire and I wasn't expect new car, but this was a far away from what we get in the past from different car rentals in different countries. If you need a cheap car and you don't bother with mess in the car then this is your place. If you expect a slightly higher standard and staff knowledge then I would not recommend this company to you.

Should have said europcar. I had no idea what green motion was and had to ask. They sent me to fill up my car when I turned it in after I had just filled it up! The guy did not read the gauge correct and did not believe me. So I had to leave, find a gas station and spend 1 euro to top off and show my receipt. The car was a high mileage piece of junk.

Paid for a luxury big vehicle to drive with comfort and ease but turned out to be an absolute disaster. Was initially given what was advertised Mercedes ML although it was an 2012 model. 3rd day into our hire the car brokedown on the motorway not giving any warning lights on the dashboard as it was clealy played around with and turns out to be no oil and water running through the engine which we had to wait till morning to get it reported and towed back to the car rental village for a replacement car which we was not even approached for an apology and was just given another car which was an bmw x5 2012 with more problems just by inspecting the vehicle was an air-con leak which was not reported by the company on the hand over. At this point we had no choice but to take this car as we already wasted 2days from our holiday. Not even an hour driving i noticed that the windscreen wipers kept locking as i tried to clean to front window. All tyres pressure were below average, no Bluetooth available system was clearly played around with. Absolute disaster. Avoid this company.

Like: Staff was friendly and helpful, they have provided us with baby chair for no additional coast. Gave valuable advises regarding country (we have been there first time). Vehicle was in good condition. Pick-up and drop-off had been arranged in time. Fully satisfied.
