The Seven Magic Mountains – what you didn’t know about Las Vegas

Most people visit Las Vegas for casinos and nightclubs, but did you know that the most beautiful view of Las Vegas is 10 miles south of the city?

You will come face to face with one of Nevada’s most unique and unknown sights — the Seven Magic Mountains. It’s a large-scale site-specific public art installation produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund, a creative expression of human presence in the desert.

Seven Magic Mountains consist of locally-sourced limestone boulders stacked vertically in groups. Each stone boasts a different fluorescent color; each individual totem stands between thirty and thirty-five feet high.

It’s definitely a fabulous Vegas roadside attraction you must visit! And make sure to wear sunscreen as the temperature can reach 100 degrees in summer!
