Up to 10pm The car rental desks in the arrivals hall are open until 10pm. Terminal 1: gates A1/A2, to the right of the information office. Terminal 2: between gates A2 and A3. Vehicle collection and return takes place in the dedicated zone at the Car Rental Center, behind car park P5 at Terminal 2. After 10pm To access the Car Rental Centre or hire a vehicle after 10pm: Take the free shuttle to Terminal 2 from Gate A0 on the arrivals floor Services run every 6? minutes between 6am and 11pm and every 10 minutes from 4.30am to 6am and from 11pm until the last flight arrives. Alight at the Terminus: Terminal 2, Gate A3. Pedestrian access: from any exit, use the sheltered walkway following signs for "Location de voitures /Car Rental Center". Cross car park P5.

Chap was rude, wasnt interested in any paperwork just barked licence, credit card and passport. Then said I would be better in a 7 seater car, rather than the 8 seater van we had booked and said it wasnt available. I said I would have to have the upgraded Mercedes van then and refused a car, and by a miracle they suddenly found the van that I had booked. They tried to push the zero excess insurance numerous times, and were dismissive when pointing out damage that they had missed on the report sheet. They also didnt explain that the barcode ticket they gave me was to gain release from the car park. Overall they were worse than awful.

There were an unusually high number of people renting cars at the airport. Even with 5 or 6 windows open, I still waited for over half an hour. However, the service staff were very thorough and enthusiastic. I received a Renault, which had much more space than a Golf. The car was also very new, with less than 1000 kilometers on it. Very good.
