You can arrive of One Switch - Miami car rental by free shuttle bus.

After removing the luggage go to the rental building (Car Rental Center) using the monorail (electric train) once there and connect to the wi-fi network (free) and then communicate with us or from any public telephone dialing 18664369044 or using whats-app +1 (786) 862-2219. We are located 3 minutes literally from the building. Our Shuttler identified with the word ONE SWITCH RENT A CAR picked them up in bay 1 and 2 (the exit of the building that is near Hertz) and brought them to our offices where we will do the paperwork and they will be ready for your trip. Our office address is: 3256 nw 24 st rd Miami, FL 33142. IMPORTANT NOTICES : 1) If purchasing a package without insurance, a proof of full insurance in the driver's name must be presented at time of pick-up. Please note that only insurances issued by GEICO, LIBERTY MUTUAL, ALL STATES, INFINITY, STATE FARM, USAA, ESurance, Farmers and Nationalwide are accepted. 2) A sunpass can be rented at the counter for $10.99 per day. If the renter chooses not to purchase this service, the toll fees can be paid at the end of the rental, triggering an additional administrative fee of $25 per day. If the above requirements are not matched, it is strongly advised to cancel the reservation as soon as possible or contact our customer service team for further information.

I was very disappointed that my car rental ended up costing $200 more for the week than what I contracted to pay. I found this car rental on the website kayak.com which showed a full price of $105 for the week, which was to be paid in full in advance, with $0 due at pickup. When I got to the car rental place at One Switch that despite my showing proof of having my own insurance with full coverage, I had to pay another $9 per day for not using their insurance, which I think is a terribly unfair and unethical business practice. Furthermore, I was charged another $13 per day for Sunpass (not optional) which does not even include the actual toll cost. Further I was charged an additional rental day at $52, plus taxes, because my pick up was at 9:00 a.m. and my drop off was at 11:00 a.m. The employee at the counter did not speak English well and was difficult to understand and communicate with. The vehicle itself was a high mileage vehicle which was not in very good condition. If i had known of the true cost of this rental, I would have not rented with One Switch and would have gone with a more reputable company.

The staff was unavailable at pick up. The only person there spoke no English. When the country person arrived, she only spoke a little English. After spending 1/2 hour trying to figure out the computer (and texting on her phone throughout the entire process) we got in our way. We told them we were dropping it off at 5:00AM on 9/9 but no one was there at the location. They ended up directing us to drop it off at the airport WITH THE KEYS IN IT!!! I will never use that company again. I will also reconsider using easy rent cars to avoid getting stuck with them again.

Buyer beware, pay the extra $25-$50 for a better company because you get what you pay for. Our car was dented, scratched, & dinged. It vibrated when we were on the freeway and the brakes were bad. The headlights were broken, only the running lights worked on the vehicle. There were warnings about the airbags and tires. We were charged an additional $6.99 per day for using our own auto insurance! This was an additional fee tacked on after we already prepaid for the vehicle and were told we would owe nothing further. We were the only customers in the building, yet it took 50 minutes to get our busted up vehicle with over 85,000 miles on it. We were in a hurry; having landed in Miami at 9:35 AM, we thought a 3:00 PM reservation in the Keys would be a non-issue, but in addition to all the other things that went wrong with this reservation, the car was also given to us with just a quarter tank of gas, so we had to make an additional stop. Do not use this company.
