Pick-up Instructions

Upon arrival at the Las Vegas airport, please board the McCarran Car Rental Shuttle bus from the baggage claim area. Once you arrive at the Car Rental Center, exit the bus, and go to the taxi pick-up waiting area located just outside the Car Rental Center, and stand at sign number 4. Once at sign number 4, board the Fox Rent a Car shuttle for a short ride to the Fox Las Vegas location. The Fox shuttle runs approximately every 10 minutes during operating hours, and our Fox Las Vegas facility operates 24 hours per day. The car was in terrible condition. It had 46,000 miles on it and did not look at all like the car I picked online. Then when I went to pick-up the asked it I wanted them to fill it up it was cheaper than at pump. They charged me twice as much for gas when I looked at my statement. I hate this company.

Car was filthy and had a terrible ride/shake. I didn't return it only because the employee at the exit was so rude and the service inside took way too long. Needless to say, the tires were thread bare and one blew on the freeway. There was no spare tire and it took almost 24 hours before I could reach roadside assistance. I'm mostly upset that my safety was clearly not a priority to fox rental car.

The lady at counter was expecting us to agree with her extras even after we denied. Still tried sneaking in a insurance package after telling her we had insurance covered by our personal insurance company. Produced insurance proof. Make sure you ask knowing the charge before you insert your credit card! They will make you look like your stupid at every angle.

The Fox salesman did try to sell us a lot of stuff that we did not need. He tried to sell us the upgrade for an additional $375.00. Then when there was only one full size car on the lot, they gave us a "roomier" SUV.

Took the car back and waited in the hot sun for about 45 minutes for the mechanic to fix the key fob. He fixed it temporarily and the back cover and battery fell out of the fob, broken key fob. Wouldn’t rent from Fox again.

The counter staff was very nice and very helpful. I did not receive enough information about the tolls, how to pay them on time, the website to pay them on time, how to avoid penalties and fees in California, when I found the page were only 5 days to pay them, now I will have penalties and fees for this, When I delivered the car I asked about this concern and nobody knew anything about this and they called the supervisor and he didn't know how to give me an appropriate answer and he wasn't helpful nor nice, he was rude and I got angry for this, I delivered the car on saturday 20th. the insurance was other problem, I booked online the car and I paid the insurance of $ 120.75 and when I rented the car, I had to pay for another insurance because that did not serve me and I claimed to cancel with that company and they refused to refund the money. On the other hand the car was in perfect condition I'm very happy with the service.

I had to stand in line 45 min to pick up the car. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, and seemed uncaring about people standing in line. One of the staff took his break, made personal phone call and ate while 10 people stood in line. Rude, very poor service at pick up counter.

The pick up was slow from the start. 2 connections by shuttle just to get to the facility. Check in line wasn’t very large but it took a considerable amount of time to check in each person. Car was not cleaned prior to us using it. Upon drop off had we not taken a Lyft from the location. We would have missed our flight home. Shuttle took 45 minutes before we decided we need to take alternate transportation back to airport. Not sure how long it actually took it too arrive. And that’s not even including the line we would have had to wait in to confirm our payment to cash as requested when we put down our CC as a hold.
