Q1.What is an insurance excess？
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

I rented a car for a week and the experience was very good. Friendly staff with active communication in English on Whatsapp. Hence, their service is even better than most companies back in Europe. The rented car was the same type I booked and all of the required information was told by the pick-up. The company is trustworthy with good prices. Just keep in mind that you have to pay the highway / freeway toll in cash while returning your car. Highly recommended!

They contact you in advance to check all your documents, including passport, driver license, and international driving permit, to make sure that you can indeed rent a car in Taiwan. Remember that not all drivers license or international driving permit from all countries can allow you to drive in Taiwan. Staff are very friendly and warn you everything you should pay attention. Rented a Honda Fit and car condition was excellent. Service is good. It's abit squeezy for 3 adults + 1 kid though. They even made a small booklet for 1st timer to explain the driving and parking rules in Taiwan (e.g never park along red line), to me, that was very very useful reference. Counter staff is also very helpful to go through once more about the rules in the booklet. Car return is also very efficiently done. The rental process is very pleasant!

No problem with car or the whole process. Two main problems: 1) Location of return is not at the airport. 2) Office hours start from 8.30am. I need to be at the airport by 8am, hence must return the car by 7+am. Since this is not possible, I had to rebook and return the car the evening before and take a taxi to the hotel. I had no choice but to book from Chailease because the other suppliers apparently did not have the 7-seater that I needed.

The car is very good. The check in service staff was helpful and able to provide with little details. The checking out staff is however less helpful and overcharged me for 2 minor issues. 1 is the a slight scratch at the bottom of the bumper and the 2nd is a dent near front passenger door caused by another car parked next to me and had already disappeared. He insisted that I caused the damage because i did not report to police which I do not know how since I did not even noticed the dent until much later. He charged me 4800NT for a damage that can probably be fixed with less than halft the cost and because I have to catch the flight back, I agree to settle so that we can move on. Anyway, I need QEEQ help to recover the ridiculous amount.

We don't speak Chinese so we didn't really talk but he took us through a very simple process and we got the car quickly! The only problem was on the return we could not find our way to the ally that takes the car back to where we picked it up. Traffic was terrible so each failed attempt took several minutes to try again. But the agent took the car where we managed to leave it even if not at the shop.
