To drive in Netherlands, the driver need to present a valid national driver's license that has been held for at least 1 or 2 years (according to different car rental company).The minimum age to drive in Netherlands is 21 years old (age may vary by car category)
All licenses issued in the European Union are accepted.
Driver's licenses from non-EU countries (except Switzerland) are accepted if you have a visa in your passport and at the time of rental have not been in Europe for longer than 6 months. If your domestic driver's license is printed with non-Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic etc), an International Driving Permit (IDP/IDL) or an official translation in English is required together with your driver's license when you drive in Netherlands.

Got a headache from the bad smell. I should have rejected this car and Hertz should have never put it up for rent. No more Hertz NL for me.
The car was 0 milage Toyota CHR hybrid. It was fine but slow in acceleration. My chosen car was Volvo V40 which I would have preferred. Only issue it would be great if they would tell of traffic violation upon handing over.
Check in was fast even with quite a few customers waiting. Car was absolutely spotless and pretty much brand new. Busget is easy to find in the airport and pick up location is easy to find too.
When I returned the car, I was asked where the back tray is, and telling me I will have to pay a fine, since it was missing. I answered it wasn't there when I picked the car and the guy said I should have mentioned it when they gave me the car. A part which you cannot see is missing. eventually they "let us go"...

Had booked Ford Focus and got Citron C4 which was smaller as such we faced problem with the luggage space. Thought the staff could have been more supportive in allocating a bigger car since the car we booked was not available.
The pick-up location is to mins by shuttle. its a Hassle to carry your luggage up to the car pick-up location.

The process of picking up the car took too long. There was a very long queue that moved very slowly. When we were finally served the person, although very nice and helpful, answered the phone while assisting us and had a 10 min conversation with another customer. He also was interrupted by other members of staff and had to stop serving us to speak to them - not great customer service!
Counter staff was very good but perhaps you could have a person who can chat with you about the vehicle you are picking up before you pick it up. Plus accessing your drop-off garage through and off the tunnels is a nightmare.
The car was great. Service at pickup was ok, at drop off excellent. Car was clean inside but outside mirrors and windscreen were dirty. Overall very good experience.

Car exceeded my expectations! Very clean and very low mileage. Less the 6 months old.
I didn't like being charged extra for winter tyres. I had mentioned I was driving Luxembourg time I was paying for the car. Its beyond their control, just miscommunication.

I asked about the exact amount of deposit beforehand and the information was wrong. You sent me 750euro but it was 900euro. Car and all other was perfect :-)

Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental. Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results. However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available. After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with. If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind: 1. You may have to pay more. There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter. 2.It may not be allowed. Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country. Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ. Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.
