Kalbarri National Park – one of the most visited National parks in Western Australia

Over 180,000 hectares in size, Kalbarri National Park is dominated by a 400 million-year-old landscape that has cut into beautiful red and white banded gorges by the Murchison River.

📣Facts & Tips: The park is one of Western Australia’s most magical places to propose. It’s open throughout the year, with temperatures peaking between December and April, at which point it can be up to 10° hotter in the gorges than in the town of Kalbarri. Water is not provided in the park. Wildflowers (over 800 species) bloom between August and September, which creates a gorgeous and colorful display.

🚙Transportation: The park can be accessed from the North West Coastal Highway. It’s ideal for families or those without 4wd and can easily be visited as part of a longer road trip up the West Coast.
