QEEQ Rewards Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all aspects of participation in the QEEQ Rewards Program worldwide (also called "Program", upgraded from “Globetrotter Rewards Program” on March 30th, 2020), effective from the date set above and superseding all former versions of the Terms and Conditions. They are addressed to the structure of the Program, describing QEEQ.COM’s rights and obligations, as your own, and describing how to earn and redeem QEEQ Reward Points (hereafter referred as QPoints). It also contains a dispute resolution clause, including arbitration requirements.

By participating in the Program, you indicate your acceptance of all Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them. It is your own responsibility to read and understand all clauses.


General Conditions

The QEEQ Rewards Program is offered to registered users from QEEQ.COM (upgraded from QEEQ.COM on March 16th, 2020), at the discretion of Qompass Voyage Limited.

The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until QEEQ.COM decides to terminate the Program. QEEQ.COM has the right to terminate the Program, change the Terms and Conditions, benefits, conditions of participation, membership status qualification criteria and point levels, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of membership status, benefits, Rewards Points and certificates already accumulated.

QEEQ.COM makes no guarantees or representations of any kind concerning the Program. The Program is void where prohibited by applicable federal, state or local laws. The Terms and Conditions of this Program are subject to change as may be necessary to comply with such regulations. By participating in the Program, you liberate QEEQ.COM, its affiliates and partners from all claims or liability regarding your participation, including but not limited to claims related to earning and redeeming of QPoints.

 

Eligibility

Only individuals that are 18 years of age or older may enroll in the Program. Such individuals will hereafter be referred as "Members" or "QEEQ Rewards Members". Members may not maintain more than one or share accounts. Corporations, groups and other entities are not eligible.

 

Definitions

QPoints are the base units of measurement in the QEEQ Rewards Program. Unless provided on a certain promotion or campaign, the value of 100 (one hundred) QPoints are equal to a credit of 1 (one) US Dollar on a Redeemable Car Rental. This value can be passive of change in a specific promotion or campaign. (Points Redemption feature is coming soon) 

Eligible Booking is any car rental booking that is completed (not cancelled or not no-show) by the QEEQ Rewards member through QEEQ.COM or QEEQ mobile app. 

Redeemable Car Rental Booking is any pre-paid or partially pre-paid car rental offer that is shown with a "Payable with QPoints” message on the search results and details or checkout page on QEEQ.COM or QEEQ mobile app. (coming soon)

Paid Membership means your membership is upgraded by paying the membership fee instead of qualifying by earning QPoints.


QEEQ Rewards Membership Tiers

The QEEQ Rewards Program is made of four membership tiers:

Silver Member: To be qualified for Silver Member, you must join the Program and accept its Terms and Conditions.

Gold Member: For Gold Member status, you will need to earn at least 2,000 QPoints per calendar year (From January 1st to December 31st). 

Platinum Member: To be a Platinum Member, you will need to earn at least 5,000 QPoints per calendar year. 

Diamond Member: To qualify for Diamond Member, the highest tier of the Program, you can  pay to upgrade to Diamond member for 1 year (365days) membership.

 

When the points earned within a calendar year reach the upgrade line for the next status, or you complete the payment for a higher QEEQ membership, your status will be automatically upgraded within 24 hours (except the special condition that your payment of paid membership is under security check).

If you upgrade your status by earning QPoints, the tier status will remain in effect for the remainder year and the next full calendar year.

If you upgrade your status by paying for a higher membership, the tier status will remain in effect within the valid time period. If the QPoints earned in a calendar year reaches the upgrade line for a higher tier, you will be upgrade and your new tier status will remain in effect for the remainder year and the next full calendar year. The membership tier status will remain effective for 1 year (365 days).

Pending QPoints will not be counted in the status upgrade evaluation until they are designated as “earned” in your membership account.


Paid Membership Terms 

We also offer paid membership plans, which are subject to these Terms, and may have additional fees and terms. Click here for terms and conditions about paid membership of QEEQ Rewards. 

 

Membership tier status evaluation and degradation

The tier status will be evaluated at the beginning of each calendar year on January 1st, 00:00:01 (Pacific Standard Time), only based on the QPoints earned within the prior year.

If the QPoints you earned in the prior calendar year are qualified for your existing membership tier, you will keep your membership status for the next year. If you didn’t earn enough QPoints in the prior year to keep your existing membership status, your status will be degraded to the tier that your QPoints are qualified for. QPoints balance and redeemed QPoints will not affect the tier status.

If you pay for a higher QEEQ membership, your status will be valid for 1 year and re-evaluations made during this period won’t affect your membership. Once your paid tier status is expired and there’s no upgrade during this period, we will base the re-evaluation of your current status on the QPoints earned within the prior and the current calendar year.

Important: If you issue a chargeback for a paid membership, QEEQ.COM reserves the right to remove, at any time, any QPoints, or Eligible Car Rental days that were counted towards the tier status, earned or awarded during the paid membership validity and degrade your member tier to Silver.

If your account is deactivated, QEEQ.COM reserves the right to invalidate your tier status. QEEQ.COM also reserves the right to remove, at any time, any QPoints, or Eligible Car Rental days that were counted towards the tier status, earned or awarded from unused products and services.

The QPoints will be removed in cases where a QEEQ Rewards member gets a refund, from either QEEQ.COM or a car rental supplier.

 

Earning QPoints

You must be enrolled in the QEEQ Rewards Program and sign in to QEEQ.COM before completing an Eligible Booking, or specific tasks, in order to earn QPoints.

If you have completed an Eligible Booking before January 1st, 2018, even if you are already registered as a QEEQ.COM user, you will not earn QPoints on that Eligible Booking.

QPoints will be awarded only to the account of the QEEQ Rewards member who made the Eligible Booking or completed the specific tasks. Additional individuals named as drivers on the itinerary will not earn QPoints. If the booking is made by another individual, such as travel arrangers, the QPoints will be earned by the account linked to the Member ID.

Paid memberships will only interfere on your membership tier status, there are no awarded bonus QPoints.

You can also earn QPoints through Eligible Car Rental Bookings or completing specified tasks.

Through Eligible Car Rentals Bookings: When you book an Eligible Car Rental, you earn Basic QPoints and Bonus QPoints, depending on your membership status and your booking device.

Basic QPoints 

As a QEEQ Member, you can respectively earn Basic QPoints from every eligible car rental day, US$1=1QPoint, rounded to the nearest round number.

Bonus QPoints

In addition to your Basic Points, you can also earn Bonus QPoints when you make car rentals on QEEQ mobile application (click "Download App" to download):

- Silver Member: 20% of Basic QPoints

- Gold Member: 30% of Basic QPoints

- Platinum Member: 40% of Basic QPoints

- Diamond Member: 50% of Basic QPoints


You can also earn QPoints completing specified tasks:

1) Writing reviews

2) Like us on Facebook page

3) Connecting with our Messenger.

4) You can earn QPoints by making eligible bookings on Booking.com (2 QPoints for 1 USD spent).

 

QPoints awarded from bookings that are refunded or adjusted will be deducted from your QPoints total. These deductions may result in a negative QPoints balance. Any Points you earn will be applied to reduce the negative balance and you will not be able to redeem them until you have again a positive balance.

QPoints are not earned from: Coupons, discounts, refunded or adjusted amounts; unauthorized or fraudulent charges; bookings made by or for business purposes; interest or fees.

 

After completing an Eligible Booking, the amount of QPoints to be earned will be deposited in your account with a “Pending status”. At the end of your reservation, if it`s declared valid, your Points will be officially credited to your account. The validation of the actual use of the car takes usually 15 days (for pre-paid bookings) to 30 days (for pay-at-pickup bookings made before July 16, 2019) after you return the car. You can also upload photos from your car rental contract or final invoice after dropping-off, and once we validate the use of your car, it will take 1 to 2 days to have the Points credited to your account.

 

You can view your QPoints balance in the “History” section of your “My Account” page. Any no-shows, changes or cancellations on your booking may result in changes to the amount of QPoints credited/debited to the QEEQ Rewards member's account connected to that itinerary. The refund from the canceled booking will be deducted by the value of the QPoints redeemed. All the refund transaction’s details should be described under the“History” tab. 

No QPoints will be earned for no-show or cancelled bookings.

No QPoints will be earned for alteration or cancellation fees imposed by QEEQ.COM or its suppliers.

If the Points on your QEEQ Rewards account do not match the right amount, QEEQ.COM reserves the right to adjust your QPoints balance. If you believe your QEEQ Rewards account has been subject of any suspicious activity, please contact QEEQ.COM customer service immediately. If it is determined that you have been victim of a fraud, your QPoints will be transferred to a new QEEQ Rewards account.

 

Redeeming QPoints

QPoints earned on an Eligible Booking or on a specified task can be redeemed in several ways, depending on your membership status.

You can redeem QPoints after you become a QEEQ Member.

For QEEQ members: You may redeem your Points from car rental coupons or use your Points at the checkout page. QPoints are only used on pre-paid bookings. Redeemable bookings are designated on the car search results with the “Pay with Points” label and “Pay with Points” option at the checkout page.

 - 100 QPoints can redeem US$1

- You can choose 500 QPoints, 1000 QPoints, 1500 QPoints, 2000 QPoints, 3000 QPoints, 4000 QPoints, 5000 QPoints to redeem on car rental bookings.

- Up to 5% of the car rental pre-paid amount can be redeemed. Therefore, the pay online amount is at least US$100.

- You need to redeem QPoints on QEEQ mobile application (click "Download App" to download).


When you book a Redeemable Car Rental, you will have the option to use your QPoints to pay for part or the entire booking amount. If you choose to use your QPoints, we will subtract the amount of Points you are redeeming from the total amount due for your booking, including taxes and fees. If you choose not to use your QPoints, they will remain in your account, subject to an expiration date. QPoints with the earliest expiration date will be redeemed first.

 

If you cancel or alter your booking, and if you are entitled to a refund, the amount refunded will be the cost of the cancelation less the amount of QPoints applied across the entire booking. The amount of QPoints applied to the canceled booking will be redirected to your account. If you choose to redeem QPoints, the QPoints are deducted from your balance immediately. If the Redeemable Car Rental booking is also an Eligible Booking, you will earn QPoints on the part of your booking not paid with QPoints.

 

If you cancel a refundable reservation, partly or whole paid by QPoints, the QPoints used will be re-issued to your account with their original expiration date. QPoints redeemed on a non-refundable reservation will not be re-issued to your account under any circumstances. QPoints cannot be used to pay or offset any cancellation fees. All bookings and cancellations are governed by QEEQ.COM Terms and Conditions and any separate car rental policies that may apply.

For Platinum/Diamond members: You may redeem your points into various types of rewards, such as airline miles, partners’ points, charity donations (coming soon), tours and activities (coming soon), gift cards and merchandise. For Diamond members only: You can turn your points into cash and withdraw from your debit or credit card account. (coming soon)

QPoints may not be assigned, sold, transferred or pledged to any third party or to any another account. You have no property rights or other legal interests over QPoints. You are responsible for any personal tax liability that may be related to your participation in the QEEQ Rewards Program and redemption of QPoints.


Expiration and Forfeiture of QPoints

Non-Promotional QPoints: Non-Promotional QPoints will be expired after 1 (one) years (365 days) from the effective date earned. Once QPoints expire, they cannot be redeemed. You will also forfeit QPoints if you attempt to violate the transfer of QPoints` regulations or if your account is closed for any mistreat reason. You will not receive any compensation from your expired or forfeited Points.

Promotional QPoints: QEEQ.COM may periodically conduct promotions that offer QPoints to QEEQ Rewards members. QPoints earned from QEEQ Rewards promotions expire according to the terms and conditions of the applicable promotion and may not be refundable if you cancel a booking where the promotional Points were applied. Promotional QPoints earned through promotional activities are equal in dollar value to QPoints earned through Eligible Bookings and they will be credited/debited to your account in accordance to their terms and conditions upon completion of the promotional activity.

Fraudulent Activity

QEEQ.COM has the right to monitor all the QEEQ Rewards members’ account activities. If your QEEQ Rewards account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, QEEQ.COM may, in its sole discretion, close or freeze your account, cancel your bookings and you may lose some or all of your earned QPoints, including any QPoints earned through fraudulent bookings. Examples of fraud, abuse or suspicious activities include, but are not limited to: breaching the Terms and Conditions; engaging in any fraudulent activities related to earning or redeeming QPoints; supplying false or misleading information to QEEQ.COM or a car rental supplier; selling, assigning, transferring or acquiring QPoints.

If you have conducted any fraudulent activity, QEEQ.COM reserves the right to take any necessary legal actions. In addition, you may be liable for monetary losses to QEEQ.COM, including litigation costs and damages. You will also not be allowed to participate in the QEEQ Rewards Program in the future.

 

Disputes and Other Terms

QEEQ.COM is committed to customer satisfaction. In case of disputes or any other problems, please contact us as soon as possible. In case of failure to solve your issue, you may pursue claims as explained below:

You may try to resolve any disputes or claims related to our services by contacting us through Qompass Voyage Limited Legal at Room 503, 5/F, Wayson Commercial Building, 28 Connaught Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. If we are not able to resolve your claims within 90 days, you may seek arbitration or small claims courts, as set below.

All claims will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court. You may assert claims on an individual basis in small claims court if they qualify. This includes any claims you assert against us, our subsidiaries, car rental suppliers or any companies offering products or services through our company, including providers, who are beneficiaries of this arbitration agreement. This also includes any claims that arose before you accepted these Terms, regardless of whether prior versions of the Terms required arbitration.

There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limited. However, an arbitrator can award on an individual basis the same damages and relief as a court (including statutory damages, attorneys’ fees and costs), and must follow and enforce these Terms as a court would.

Arbitrations will be conducted by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules. The place of arbitration shall be Hong Kong. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.
