Thrifty Car Rental with Van

Expected a Nissan SUV, but was Suprised by a Bigger Mitsubishi SUV

Lamentablemente cuando llegas al mostrador la reserva no contiene ni peajes ni seguros obligatorios por lo cual tuvimos que pagar 100 dolares mas x solo 3 dias de alquiler. Esto no estaba claro al reservar, convenía con ALAMO

Espere más de 1 hr para el carro. Aunq yo había contratado todos los seguros me cobraron $32 dls más de otro seguro que no incluía en la cobertura que contrate

The cleanliness of the car could’ve been better

Got upgraded to opel corsa . Very nice staff . But one of the staff confirmed that any little chip or dent on the car cost a minimum 99 euro to the customer even if Hertz doesn’t fix it . So you have to be very careful and make sure you have recorded all little dents and scratches on the car which was not the case for me . I had to go back and get it reviewed which took a little bit of time . Drop off was very smooth .

Pushy obnoxious sales person, the type that makes you uncomfortable. He pushed a LIT insurance, that I still can’t find if it is or not true that it is requiered by Colorado State Law... The car was really small. The only reason we could fit 1 large and 1 small suitcases was because nobody was in the back seat.

It was too small... no mystery car; smallest car in the lot.

Loved the Atlas VW. Cruise control was the best thing, the sensor slows the car when another vehicle in front, at the distance you set, and gets back to your set speed on its own. This really helped our long 40 hr trip. The car is not to big, not too small and easy to manage on the freeway and parking. This is a good car for everyday use.

As I went to the counter after the arrival of a flight the counter staff were busy with customers. The staff were pleasant and I was processed quickly and was on my way.

The counter stuff is helpful and friendly, easy fast pick-up and drop-off.

Perfect, very quick and streamlined service, very minimal waiting time, clean vehicle, friendly staff.

El coche tenía rayones laterales demasiado evidentes, no fue la mejor presentación. Cuando lo tomé expresé que posiblemente iba a demorar en la devolución, que me dijera cuanto tiempo tenía de margen y me dijo que una hora, afortunadamente llegué 40 minutos, y me iban a cobrar un día extra porque sólo eran 29 minutos. Al final lo resolvieron sin cargo.

Perfect experience and easy and smooth.

I was advised at collection that there were a number of scratches on the car which I did not mind as I am always anxious when collecting a car in pristine condition. We tried to photograph the car before leaving the car park but it was too difficult in the sunlight to see all the scratches and dents. Whilst an email file was sent with all the photos it was too difficult to see on my phone-we only got to see it later in the day when we accessed our iPad. Service at help desk was speedy and friendly. We were offered additional insurance cover but we explained we had bought upgrade with the online booking and agent did not try and sell us more (as we experienced previously with other operators)

The amount due at the counter did not match what was listed in the receipt. I was asked to pay additional taxes and fees on top of what I was quoted at the time of booking which came to an additional $30

La espera fue de dos horas y media en la estación , rente una mini vans Nissan Quest de 7 pasajeros y me entregaron después de dos horas y media un Nizzan Roque , yo pague por un carro más grande y me dieron ese , si no uviese cogido ese me uviese pasado mucho más tiempo en espera , y el servicio al cliente súper malo , mal trato al q no habla english

New fleet, easy to use. Would use next time in Adelaide (airport office)

Great service, upgrade on car, easy process. Only issue is that I had to leave a $400 bond which hasn't been refunded - even though I handed back the vehicle 4 days ago.

There was an issue with pick up as the confirmation number sent to me by QEEQ related to Thrifty in the city for pickup and not the airport even though the pickup address was down at the airport. The young gentleman from thrifty was wonderful, he mentioned this had been a problem before amd was able to organise another car for me.

When I picked up the car it had lots of dents and marks however staff assured me that they were aware and I would not be charged.

Office was in a convenient part of town

The milage of the vehicle is not high. The extenal look of the vehicle is good. However the some buttons of the radio are not working and some button at the steeling wheel for the radio not workibg as well. Otherwise it is good for the provided vehicle.

It was such a nice car to travel, good services for both pickup and dropoff. The car made us feel comfortable along our road trip. Thank you.

Overall good experience with the rental. Confusion about the extra option of automatic refill of the car. On the rental agreement I noticed (a bit late) that I had agreed to this option, which I had not agreed to upon pickup. As a result I did not fuel it up myself, (since I thought the rental company would do this) for which I had to pay an extra charge. This was not good and not clear and not agreed upon rental.

Staff at Beziers downtown office were super friendly and helpful and offered to translate in english for me, which was very generous.

The agents are trained to tell you full or basic insurance and not giving you the option to decline. Be careful and be smart. And avoid these little sales tactics, other than that the car drove nice and was clean and easy checkout.
